Oh Becky, I know somewhat how you feel, last month we had terrible flooding here, (Mass/Rhode Island) No tornado warnings, as we do not get them here. I do know several people who lost so much . Some their homes were under water (ranch style homes.) We have been here (a cape style house) 4 years this past September and never had any water....UNTIL this storm (and we live on top of a hill) we had a puddle downstairs in the finished basement, wiped up with a towel but none the less we had some water. Under the front porch there was a small ditch that my husband filled in so hopefully that will take care of water in the future, but the damage poeple had was horrible. I will say a prayer for Ally's teacher, It is sad when you work so hard and then to loose so much. Thankfully you and your family are safe. The tornados warnings must be so frightening!

Oh my!! I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same thing up there! It's so sad when you see your friends losing homes and all of their possessions! I'm glad to hear that you didn't have too much water in your home. Thank you so much for your prayers!!

So many places in Nashville are under water. They are asking people to stay wherever they are and not be on the streets. The Cumberland is six feet over flood stage, I believe they said. They just showed a THP helicopter land on I-40 to pick up a pregnant woman. It'll be a while before Nashville is back to normal. Check out NewsChannel5 to see what it's like up here.

Welcome back, Becky! I've missed you around here. Wow, lots going on with you. First off, congrats on the new house. Absolutely gorgeous. I've been down that road with all the financial things for buying a house-- not fun!! Glad it's all over. Hoping your old house sells fast. That's great that the girls could stay in the same schools. The girls are so cute! Great Easter pics. I love the nest project-- too cute. Only 20 days until Disney!! DH and I just got back today from a last minute couples Disney trip today. We had a great time!

I drove by a house that just had a pile of ruined furniture on their lawn. I just feel so awful for people in this situation.
At the end of the day, of course, as long as people are okay, He will take care of the rest! Possessions are nothing compared to people!!
On a happier note-- you're so close!! Can't wait to see pictures of the new customs-- Tiana pillowcase dresses sound so cute!

Wow! Those storms came through AR this weekend, too. I guess they didn't lose much steam on their way...

We signed up for the Weather Call a few months ago. It's nice to have. I was so terrified of a tornado coming through at night, when we're all asleep and oblivious to the weather.

All that flooding is horrible. Sending thoughts & prayers your way.
