This forum is for those families who would like to participate in the Fish Extender (FE) Exchange Group for the April 10, 2016 Disney Magic Cruise!
Is your family as excited as ours? This will be my families 4th cruise and my 2nd. We did a small FE group last cruise and loved the turn out! We will be closing this forum after we have 7 cabins to participate. We have such a small group because we understand that with this length of cruise and all the necessities you will be packing space is limited. Once we have 7 cabins we will each get a day to drop off our FE gifts, this way, each day we have a surprise to look forward to!
Please feel free to tell us about your family. If your rather keep this information to only the families in the exchange please feel free to send me a personal email at kristinm2010@ymail.com.
Here are some things you may want to include so people can personalize your gifts!
• DISboard username
• First and last names including any nicknames/preferred names
• Gender & Age at the time of the cruise for each person in your cabin (or age range if you do not want to put a specific number)
• Cabin Number
• Please list any food allergies!!
• Misc. info about each person such as professions, hobbies, favorite Disney character and/or movies
• Any special celebrations for anyone in the family
• If alcohol is ok as a FE gift. (for guests 21+ of course)
• An email address for your family.
Once I have every families' information I will make up a spread sheet and email it to everyone so it is much easier to read!
Here are a few things to remember:
1. The gift exchange will start on Sunday 10th and end on Saturday the 16th.
2. Each family will have an assigned day. This gives each family 1 turn to be the gift giver and 6 days of fun surprises. Once we have 7 participating families I will send out a sign up list with the day you wish to be the gift giving family.
3. Minimum is 1 gift but you are always welcome to give more. Gifts can be given to each individual person, or to a family as a whole. (Email me with questions about gifts.)
4. As silly as it sounds don’t forget your fish extender! There are many tutorials on Pintrest on how to make your own or you can purchase them on Etsy or Ebay.
5. Your family will want to keep your FE as a reminder of a great time. With that said bring something to secure it. I’ve heard that zip ties work well.
6. Many forums and Pins recommend giving a thank you note to those in your group. But this is just a recommendation and is not a requirement!

. As I saw someone post on one of the FB group pages, my family was worried that we were going to get a bunch of coupons for free hugs from a bunch of weirdos! (haha), but we obviously that was not the case at all! My entire family absolutely loved the small group we were a part of and loved looking forward to a surprise outside our door every day!
