This Disneyland gal is going to see the World! A Jan/Feb 2016 PTR - T-8 Days until Disney!

You should totally go! I will be there on the first day, that's for sure! Hopefully it lives up to the one in Orlando, because that one is pretty amazing!

Totally going just not sure during which trip yet.... First I was leaning towards May but now I'm thinking Sept! Need to plan out both trips in more detail to see where it fits better!

September would probably be ideal. School is back in session, they'd probably work out all of the kinks by then and the weather should (in theory) be better. Although that's not saying much, as it's 80+ here today and it's December. o_O

But exciting nonetheless! It'll still be a great time!

I should rephrase, the week before labor day! EKK!

I'm baaaacccckkkkk! Sorry It's been a while. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I've been pretty busy with work and getting things geared up for 2016. BUT, I've also suddenly looked up and I'm so very close to being in my happy place.

As of today I am one week and one day (8 glorious single digit days!!!) from leaving to Florida!! My flight gets in really late, so my first real Disney day is only 9 days away!

I've finally decided to cut off all changes to my dining and FP+ plans as well. I've changed things way too much and it really needed to stop. Good news is that I was able to get a hold an A&E FP for the 31st!! I had originally planned a rest day before hitting the ground running the next day, but when they extended park hours, I couldn't say no! Unfortunately the passes are for later at night, but I'm okay with that.

So now I am currently in a packing abyss. The weather keeps changing, but for now it looks like it's going to be mid 70's to mid 80's throughout most of my trip. And I don't know about you, but I feel this ridiculous need to buy new things before every trip! New clothes, new luggage, new shoes. The list has been extensive... and painful. Throughout the past few months, I've been putting away items here and there that I planned on taking with me, and now I've got a huge box sitting in a spare room with all of the items that I'm working on getting packed up. I've got one week to get this all sorted out, and in very little time. I'm traveling for a few days for work next week, and I essentially have a day after I come back to get everything done. But this week has been painful insofar as work has been concerned. When I come back from Disney I come back to a whole new job, which makes it harder to concentrate on work. I'm in complete tunnel vision.

I've got nothing but Disney on my mind. I'm sure most of you can relate. I'll update again this weekend as I'm packing everything up! Can't wait for next week!

I'm joining in a bit late, but I can definitely feel you when it comes to a) swapping out reservations/hotels and b) counting down the long days until your Disney vacation. I can't wait to read about your amazing sounding solo trip.

I love a good Swanson gif. Maybe my next trip report I'll try to include one in every chapter.

Good choice! My usual plan of attack is to come in the night before as well. I can catch a couple of direct Southwest flights after 5pm, plus that way I don't have to take another day off. :)

First world problem :thumbsup2

Congrats on the new job!

I hope you have a great trip, can't wait to read about it!
