This commercial had me bawling

I love that song. There are a lot of us daughters/sons that have had to let go.

Dagflabbit!! Why'd you have to post this?!?! :headache:

I have 2 DD's (9&7)!! :sad1:

By the way, if anyone need it the song is "You Can Let Go" by Crystal Shawanda.

Sorry!
I have watched it like 6 times now. My two little boys think I am crazy while I sit here and cry at the TV.
I have been watching all the commercials now at www.values.com I love them!

Now I'm crying.:sad1: I've never seen that commercial before but it's a good one.

This hits way too close to home as we had the wake for my 90 year old Dad last night and his burial is tomorrow. :( He lived a good, long life but chf made the last year or so of his life very tough. He was in and out of the hospital and when nothing else could be done he wanted to be home where he ended up being on hospice care. He suffered so much at the end and he wanted to go but we wanted him to stay. I was a Daddy's girl all my life and yes, I also had to tell him it was ok to go...so hard to do..he was finally able to let go when Mom, his wife of 68 years also told him it was ok... I have been holding up ok as I believe he is giving me the strength to go on, but it is so, so hard as he was such good Dad and I miss him so much... :(

Beautiful song...but when you reach my age it's kind of depressing. I can only hope that my Daughters feel that way about me. I tried my best. Hopefully they know that. I think they do!

I'm so sorry.

Had to watch it with the sound off and I fast forwarded through a lot of it - still made me tear up, hahaha.

 I am sure they do!

Now you have me tearing up. The man in this commercial looks just like my Papaw did, and we buried him last year. :sad1:

They have been playing this song on the country music station around here for a while, it always makes me a little weepy.

Sorry for your loss JESW

Jill, I am so sorry.... hugs to you and your family.

I lost my Dad at 83... he was my LIFE. This video spoke for all of us who LOVED our fathers. He died on my birthday.... I still have a hard time celebrating that day. I will miss him forever.

God bless.

I never saw that commercial but I do have to say I was with my dad when he took his last breaths and I did tell him it was ok for him to go. i was so happy to be there with him, it mean't so much. I wish I had been there when my mom left us.
