pull me off the ceiling! this is the third time we've been on a waitlist and it finally came through. 1br pv 11/7/-11/14! i called ms to make a couple of ps for our may trip and they said they were just about to call! now i have to find airfare; ms was not able to get really good prices-over $350 per ticket. i still can't believe it; the waitlist actually worked this time! sorry for babbling- any ideas on airfare? just posted on the budget board regarding this. D

here's something you might try: book a "vacation package" directly with one of the airlines (e.g. usair for a philadelphia to orlando trip, or continental for a newark to orlando trip), but only ask for a "fly drive" package (i.e. without hotel or any of the other extras). i know that usair's website let's you pick this option; continental's may not, but it's available none-the-less. you just have to call.
this is cheaper than buying a normal ticket a surprising percentage of the time (especially if you're not staying over a saturday night). all major airlines have these vacation package arms, and they can usually be accessed directly online from the airline's website. alternatively they all have separate toll-free numbers you can call.
not only are they often cheaper, but for a modest upfront fee (usually about $40 per passenger) you can reserve the right to cancel for any reason and get all your money back (less the $40, of course), an option you don't have with normal discounted fares. moreover you still get frequent flyer points. good luck!

You might want to try Spirit out of Atlantic City. They have flights for $129 down on the 7th and back on the 14th for $89. The drive from Toms River isn't bad either. Good luck!

Congratulations - now to get there
I commonly use the following internet sites:
travelocity, expedia, delta, usair, whoever serves your local airport. To get lower rates, consider flying late in the day or into an other city like Tampa or St. Pete?
Good luck.

Try Spirit Airlines out of Atlantic City, direct to Orlando, should cost you ~80-90 oneway. Free parking, have heard nothing but good things about them ... in fact I'm traveling with a group of 7 in May.

Good Luck
