Third party tickets and the impending increase

Right now we're planning three park days in June and I'm probably going to buy tickets from LMTC to save a couple bucks (unless somebody can suggest a site with better deals :-) ). If the tickets do go up in price this month, do the resellers bump their prices immediately or wait until current inventory sells out? Seems like now is the best time to jump on a good price because they'll never be lower. What do you think?

Good question!!! I was wondering this also. We are going at the beginning of August. :)

I was also thinking of buying now for a summer trip. Is the expiration on the LMT tickets usually the end of the year? We used them last summer but bought them only a few weeks out so I didn't pay attention to the expiration date.

I know I have definitely seen commented on other threads here that LMT tickets bought for this year are good thru January 13th, 2019 because you have 13 days to use after first use which must be the last day of Dec.

I assume those are non-refundable like most third party sites. In an absolute worst cast scenario, is there much of an aftermarket for dumping tickets you can't use (presumably at a loss)?
Yep they are non-refundable...also pretty sure you're not supposed to resell them?

I wish I could buy now! It's really frustrating, but our trip will be up in the air until the first of March!!!!

Board Rules Business First: Disney Tickets clearly state that they are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not for resale. Period. These boards strictly support and abide by Disney policy, so any posts trying to sell or even hinting about re-selling tickets will be deleted.

The good news: Disney tickets do not expire and retain their original value. So, if the OP buys tickets now and cannot use them before the expiration date, he can still take them to the ticket booths at a later date to upgrade them to whatever tickets he would like to buy at that time. He will only have to pay the difference if there has been a price increase in the meantime.

And, to answer the OP's original question about deals on tickets: check Mousesavers.com before purchasing anything, just to make sure there isn't a better deal out there right now. Sometimes aRes, Getawaytoday, Costco, or another travel agency will have a special deal on multi-day tickets that can be worth looking into.

They typically keep the old prices until their current inventory sells out.
