Thinking about renting and I'm looking for a thread.

If anyone can help. Some time ago I was thinking of renting points for our trip and there was a thread or sticky about which resorts had what rooms available and now I can't find it. Is it still around? Does it still get updated? Help I can't find it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Since DVC Members can now view resort availability online in real-time, the DIS DVC Availability Forum is no longer a viable resource and has been closed down. It was based only on anecdotal reports from members who reported dates that certain room types at specific resorts were not available. It did not indicate actual availability, only reported UN-availability (which changes all the time).

At this time we don't accept any more posts requesting availability for specific dates - only generic requests like "What are my chances of finding a Studio at BLT in March, 2014" - where that timeframe cannot be viewed online and the answer will be based on past experience from DVC members.

If you are wanting to rent points, you can use the DVC Rent/Trade Board and make your request in any thread where a DVC member is offering to rent a reservation. You can also make a request a www.DVCrequest.com - a DIS advertiser.
