Thinking about changing ressie from 1900 Park Fare To Tusker House

I am trying to make sure that the itinerary I'm planning for our trip makes sense from a logistical standpoint. The day we plan to spend at Animal Kingdom, we have a late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. I'm thinking about booking for the same time at Tusker House which is at AK. Both are character breakfasts and I think my kids will be happy either way. I just don't want to have to leave the park so early to try to make it to breakfast on time and then travel back to AK after the breakfast. Too much maneuvering. Does that make sense?

I would go for Tusker House -- even if you're driving your own car, that will take a lot of time to leave the park, get to car, drive to Gr. Flor., park, get to the restaurant eat & then reverse. Same with taking Disney busses -- you'd be taking a minimum of 3 hours out of your AK day...and AK typically has the shortest hours anyway, so would not recommend leaving the park unless you're done for the day.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to book for breakfast, but only lunch is available and after looking at the menu, I may have to consider another option.
