Last year it was right around early May-- only they suprised everyone w/ the FTP instead of a room code. Who knows-- especially w/ the 4/7 offer to the visa holders.

I don't see why there wouldn't be. I know folks are starting to get postcards w/discount offerings. As an ex-cast member I know that means that they are in the process of checking on the occupancy rates at the resorts and figuring out what discounts will be offered. Apparently the value resorts aren't filling up - postcard rates (although they aren't that great) are being offered. I got a card for a value resort for $109 - that's not a discount at all. I read that some folks got $99 or $77 - that's better, huh?

Let's all keep watchin' for the REAL discounts for summer.

I hope there will be a code out after 7/4. DF & I are going in August. Dh is hoping for a 4/3 type thing like they had last year. We got a postcard with a $124 rate for AK. I hope they offer us something like that for when we will be visiting! We have received several postcards in the last 6 months. We have been going every other year, and we get have been getting postcards every year for as long as I can remember! The rates offered on them have always been good. It seems like the postcards we receive are usually tied in with the type of resort we stayed at last, although our last trip was a value/moderate split. The trip before was a deluxe. Guess I will have to keep my fingers crossed!

Last year in addition to the FTP, there were also AP rates for later summer.

I hope so too. We are looking at going back in September; that is if I can get a second job to support my addition. We were just there in December. I can't seem to get enough of WDW. My husband thinks I am crazy to want to make a trip so soon. That is why he told me I would have to get a second job to go twice in one year. He thought that would deter me. HA! - do I have a surpise for him.

I'm waiting too...we're booked for July 31-Aug.7 for our family reunion with 20 people at PC. Our room is already paid for, but it would be nice to have some extra spending money!

We just got a card for the Value Resorts for $99. I already booked the AKL for August and would love to get the $124 rate that was mentioned above. Does anyone know if you continue to get the postcards if you have already made a reservation with Disney?
