think i've made a HUGE mistake when booking BCV...

I have a 1 bed villa booked for 2 nights for 5 adults. Lady at MS never said we were over occupancy, but when I have looked I think they only sleep four.

am I right? I was thinking it would be the same as BLT!!!

King in the BR and pull out queen. No sleeper chair and no second bath off the LR. No linen or towels for the 5th.

They allow you to have 5 in a DVC 1 bedroom that only sleeps 4 but the expect you to bring your own bedding and don't give you a set of towels for that person. I suggest trying to move your reservation to BLT, AKV(not value), or OKW all of which will give you 5 actual sleeping spots for people.

we are travelling from UK so bringing own bedding isn't an option for us.

I guess my only hope it to try BLT today!!

Or AKV or possibly OKW. Or you could get a larger 2 BR.

Or just buy bedding in WDW, use it, and leave it there.

I think that's a wise choice. A 1 bedroom would be too cramped for 5 adults. This way each person except 1 will get their own queen bed.

I am glad you were able to solve your issue!!! I didn't realize that they would let you book 5 people in a 4 person studio. Does this apply to all room types? Say 9 in a 8 person 2 bedroom?

They won't allow it in a studio, but will allow in the 1 bedrooms since some of them now sleep 5.

I can guarantee that you can see an elephant fly in WDW! I'm glad you got your studios at OKW. Wishing you luck on your waitlist!!
