I think I made a mistake. 😬 We have resort reservations for next month. I ordered our MBS yesterday because I want to get them on time & the mail is slow. I just realized at 2:30am, now I’m wide awake, that we don’t have our park tickets yet, so they won’t be on the MBs. We’re waiting to buy them until after my Dad’s surgery next week just to be sure he’ll be ok & we’ll still be able to go. So now I’m freaking out.
How do we get the tickets on the MBs when we do buy them, which if all goes well, I’ll buy at the end of next week? It’s too late to cancel the order. Will the tickets somehow magically appear on the MBs, or will we have to go to a park & ā€œactivateā€ them? Also, does Disney still send hard card tickets when you buy them? It’s been a couple of years since we’ve gone & for the life of me, I can’t remember. Think I’m losing my mind. 🤪

The MagicBands are linked to your My Disney Experience not necessarily the ticket so think of it that way. Once your tickets are bought online through Disney they’ll be linked to your My Disney Experience which then will essentially have them on the MagicBand; just make sure you’re logged into your My Disney Experience when buying them online so they can know already who they are for and will make it easier on your end.

Oh and yes they can mail you physical cards but if your mail runs slow I wouldn’t chance it and just take the e-ticket option instead.

You can link the tickets to your account and link the MBs o your account, so everything will be linked together.

It's not a problem at all! Perfectly normal! You'll associate a person with a particular magic band. When you assign that person a ticket in MDE, they can access it using the band. Magic Bands are pretty much just a key. It links to data on a Disney server. If you loose a band, the only thing that is lost is the physical band. if you get another band, you can link the new band to your account. You can have multiple bands for the same account/user simultaneously.
