Okay - Here it is! My DD15 and I are going to WDW from 8-17 to 8-23. We are booked with the free memory maker and quick service dining plan.
BUT - I was able to book a dinner reservation for CRT (we've never been there before) for 8-20 which is my birthday. The reservation is prepaid for $150ish dollars.
I am looking online at all the other neat dining options and I start to think. MAYBE I should upgrade to the regular dining option!!! It is just a hair over $200 more, BUT my dinner at CRT would be paid for. That's like $75 difference for the option to eat at another sit down restaurant 4 more times!!!!!
Am I thinking correctly??? Am I a fool NOT to upgrade to regular dining for the extra $75??? Any thoughts???

and including air port meals and snacks I could only add up $700 in dining expenses for the 3 of us for 5 days. That's me, dh and ds who is 10. The dining plan would be a little over $900 and includes no breakfasts, airport food or alcohol. And in actuality we are a family that splits meals a lot so I was estimating high. I will how ever keep EVERY receipt we spend on food from the moment we leave so I will do a post when we get back. Our ADR's include Ohana, Sci Fi, Via and Raglan Road. Sci Fi and Ohana are new to us and Via and Raglan are favorites from our last trip!
