That's a really hard question for me. I generally buy whatever I want. I could say flowers but because I volunteer at the church at least once a month I come home with a nice bouquet after the service. Maybe a new and interesting board game, although we have had some misses in that area and then I feel bad because I don't like it and we never play it. (Exactly why I do not like getting gifts)

I buy everything myself because I really only get 1 gift a year at Christmas from our son and daughter-in-law. My husband and I quit exchanging gifts years ago.

I love flowers. They open my senses. The man used to buy them for me on a regular basis and I enjoyed his knowing my taste. I could buy them myself but it’s just not the same. Think I better acquire the habit.

My son and DIL buy me high end leather bags and wallets in Europe. They buy Aloha shirts for DH (just got him a fun one at Guinness in Dublin)! We tell them not too but they don't listen!
