Our trip is booked for July 12th :scared1: and this time we (just me and DH) are going to try to do things that we haven't done before... eat at the places we haven't tried etc..

We are staying at BLT & AKV and have no transport but we are happy to use public transport to get to things if we can.

This will be our 8th trip so we have done the essentials (i think :rotfl:) and this time we will take it a little easier and not rush to get on the rides etc.

so far we are going to:
1. Look for Hidden Mickeys. ( we often find them by mistake but this time we are going to make an effort)
2. Play mini golf at Winter summerland.
3. Ride the hot air balloon at DTD

so.. what have you not done that would be on your to do list?
or what would you recommend?

probably parasailing on the lake just outside BLT/CR or rent one of those boats in the marina.

Or do a crazy challenge like : 4 parks in one day
or a totally useless challenge like : buy a very inexpensive thing (like an antenna topper) at each and every Disney resort on property. (ok that's a silly one :) )

walking the path between international gateway (EPCOT) and DHS

watching fireworks from outside of the parks
(poly beach, CR top floors, from the ferry boat between TTC and MK
(well you may already have done that)

Eat a Kitchen Sink by myself

I think I may have actually done 4 parks in one day! :scared1::eek:

We do intend to watch the fireworks from the CR so I guess that is one to add to my list. I have seen them from the ferry boat :goodvibes

The walk between Epcot and DHS is a good one too if it's not too hot :thumbsup2

A few things we didnt do our first trip:

Tiki rooms
Country bears
Finding nemo musical

And i THINK thats it, we were pretty ride focused.

just my opinion, but not missing anything by not seeing tiki room (preferred the other version) and nemo musical was our least favourite thing in wdw!

country bears jamboree though,is hilarious! :cool1::cool1:

I'm delaying a stay at AKL to be able to do the Sunrise Safari and all that stuff you can only do if you stay at AKL club level, and the backstage safari. I'll do them as soon as DS is old enough

We did KTTK for .y birthday and loved it... i thi k we might do fhe epcot segway tojr for DBFs bday in december.

Some good ideas to try in this thread, im trying to think of some new things to try on our next trip too.

I liked the balloon at DTD lovely view from up there and it shows you just how large Disney property is.

We keep saying we will play mini golf and never got round to it maybe this trip lol.

The walk between EPCOT and DHS is wonderful and one that we've often done. We always stay at an EPCOT resort so we always walk to EPCOT and DHS and we've had some lovely moments whilst on the walk :goodvibes:goodvibes

Love hidden mickeys, we have the book and first started when i went pregnant and will try and do some more this year too

We want to do the balloon as well

The walk from dhs to epcot is lovely as is the walk round the boardwalk

we love walking around the boardwalk from the spcot international gateway. We stayed at BCV for a few nights in september so we made good use of that.

I am really looking forward to doing all these new things.. new restaurants too :goodvibes

Go on the balloon at DTD, watch the fireworks from Poly beach, eat at a restaurant in one of the Disney hotels.

Drink around the world at Epcot!? We (wife and I) usually go for different photo opportunities too. For example, on our last trip we took photos of each other with as many different hats on as we could.

Hiring a SeaRaycer at the Poly and spending an hour tootling around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake waving to people on the Ferryboat going to Magic Kingdom.

ooh this is a good one. We have considered this at DTD before but never done it. This might be a good time as we have 6 days at BLT :goodvibes

DH is usually pretty good at drinking around the world all on his own :rotfl2:

Check out the Disney Food Blog they have things like eating the different cupcakes around the world.

Not just for kids what about doing the Kidcot stations in the World Showcase. Pick up a Duffy Bear in either Mexico or Canada (wherever you start) and get the CM to do their magic.

Or you could try an Agent P task in the World Showcase too.

I had a early lunch dining ressie at Via Napoli and took the boat over from Future World, and that was so cool! It was a beautiful day and seeing the countries all aound as I glided across the water, ahh. I sat outside too. Do that! :thumbsup2
