Does anyone know if there is anything special to visit in the towns surrounding Disneyland Paris?

The entire city of Paris is at your doorstep - 40 min via RER
Other than that, the shopping centre and outlet mall at Marne la Vallee but if you are coming all the way from Pennsylvania not worth the time, frankly, unless you have a LOT of spare time.
