It looks like we are going to stay near PC before our March cruise for a couple days. Other than the space center and Fishlips, what is there to do in the area? We don’t necessarily need more beach time since we will go to CC twice.

you could visit Ron Jon Surf Shop and Cocoa Village. The Space Center is obviously the biggest attraction. If the bus tours are running again, you could easily do two days there.

There are a number of mini golf places to try. There's also Beachside Grand Prix for Go Karts. Another fun thing is taking an airboat ride on the St. John's river (Lone Cactus on 520 is the one I have done). For shopping, in addition to Cocoa Village there's Old New Haven historic district that has quite a few unique shops.

A good resource for things to do, see and places to eat in Brevard county is Destination Brevard.

Things we’ve tried (and loved):

“Kenedy Space Center”
“Epic Escapes” - escape room
“Viator/A1A Beach Rentals - Fully Guided Kayaking Backwater Manatee and Dolphin Tour” - kayaking

Things we’d like to try:

“Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventures”

One other place you may want to check out if you are near Ron Jon’s is The Florida Key Lime Pie Factory which is located just across the road from them on Dixie Lane. Their ice cream was really good, as was the key lime wine we got from them. https://flkeylimepies.com/ Our kids also really liked seeing “Sweetie”, a rescue alligator - apparently she has been sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff since we were last there. https://flkeylimepies.com/sweetie/

Highly recommend Wildside Tours out of Cocoa Beach (wildsidetours.com). This is a catamaran tour of the mangrove area to see dolphin and manatee. Went with them last January when our Disney cruise was cancelled. Quiet nature tour with lots to see, even in January.

Ooooh. We do love key lime pie. We took ourselves on a rafting tour when our cruise went to Key West a few years ago.

I’d stay at the Hilton . It’s centrally located and nice . Great pool beach’s access if you want and longboards is a great family atmosphere outdoor restaurant.
