Things Not To Do

Like Kiddsister said it could be set up like where the kids get stamped a different character for their height. This would make it easy for the TMs to see and harder for the parents to mess with.

I do agree though, something must be done. We went a few years ago when DD was just about the height to ride Dudley. A few spots ahead of us in line was a little girl (inches shorter than my DD) and she got on the ride no problems. When we got to the front my DD was told she couldn't ride and she was just a hairs length away from the height requirement. There had been no TM at the front of the line and we truly thought she was tall enough. We realized later that when we first went into the park and measured her, she was wearing tennis shoes, but when we got in line for Dudley she had switched to flip flops.

And I could go on and on about things to "not do" at the parks.

-Do NOT touch/punch/kick/take flash pics of scareactors. This can and will get you kicked out of HHN, your AP/FFP deactivated & cut up, and/or be arrested for battery.

Please forgive me if my question sounds stupid and the answer should be obvious. I understand the no touching, punching, and kicking of scareactors but am confused on taking a flash picture being a battery. Last year was my first year at HHN and I took a bunch of flash pictures of scareactors in the scare zones and was planning to do so again this year. I am thinking maybe it is a safety issue if the flash blinds the scareactor. Please help me to understand. I don't want to lose my precious AP!

I think he's referring to flash pictures inside the houses. Taking pictures even with a flash are OK outside the houses but it's nice if you ask first so they aren't blinded.

If that person doesnt do their job properly, and the child has been let go...then something should be done. After all, no one likes to sit for 45 minutes in a line only to have their child pulled off and remeasured.....and not allowed on because the child is 1/8 of an inch too short and the person in the front of the line didnt measure properly.
Inches, yeah, I can understand...safety first......even fractions of an inch, I can understand....but everyone in that line needs to work together to keep people from waiting unneccesarily.

This exact thing happened to my daughter. She was allowed in at the front of the line and then after waiting about 25 minutes was checked again at the front. At the ride checkpoint, she was a paper's width short of making it. The guy even brought out the manager to make the final call. It was that close. And I didn't care about the time in line and I was impressed that the emloyees did their job and really stuck to the requirements because I agree it is the right thing to day for safety and fairness. I did not say a word or have any problem with it, however, my 7 year old daughter was not too pleased being taken out of the line. She lost it...

But if they had measured you at the entrance and then didn't let you on I think the waiting in line might have been a bit more fustrating!
