Things left in Hallway

We just returned from a great trip to Bcv. I did notice as we went through the halls trash left outside rooms. I was thinking it was the guests. Not so. We had trash and towel day on sat. We left the room at 9am and returned at 5. Outside our room was a bag of towels and a bag of trash. I had to call housekeeping to remove it. I am sure the neighbors thought we were slobs. I guess the problem may not be us.... Barb

Indeed, we have actually been TOLD to leave trash in the hallways when we asked the location of the trash bins(at BCV in particular) and have also noticed that this is the protocol for housekeeping as well.

We just had the same experience at SSR this past week - trash bags in the hallway outside of the rooms, at the bottoms of the stairwells.... not the most pleasant sight!

Twice we have gone to leave our room in the morning to find garbage sitting right in front of our door put there by Mousekeeping as they cleaned the room next door. Next time it will become a gift to the manager down in the lobby! I'm really sick of staying in a "Deluxe" resort that looks like a garbage dump most of the day.

That is terrible. Who wants to see trash in the hallways? Is it someone else who comes along and picks it up?

We splurged on room service at BWV this past week. We put the tray of dirty dishes in the hall at 7AM Tuesday. We had to call housekeeping to come and get it when it was still there Wednesday at 10AM.

This is one issue that really bothers me. I noticed on my last trip to BWV that the halls were much better. And I was so happy and pleased. I'm sorry to hear about the BWV post. And of course all others. It just looks awful to me. Seen it at SSR as well.

I feel like a patient and fair person. But for the life of me I just don't understand why a manager, at some level, wouldn't do a walk through and make fixing this issue a huge priority. It's been going on, off and on, for years now. When it's bad...it's gross.
