what are some things you can or do with your kids so that they are also learning while there at Disney land.

Waiting in line without complaining will teach them patience. Saying "please" when ordering yummy food will teach them manners. For a 6-yr-old, riding Dumbo for the first time will expose them to fun and wonder.

Mind the golden rule and just let 'em have fun! The education will take care of itself! :thumbsup2

lol oh i ment like fun little things to make sure we do and stuff but thats true.
hes been on gumbo when he was 3 in wdw he loves it and this time i promised he could go on it last time he didnt get to

Thanks DangerMouse! We homeschool, too! That will really help us, too. Jade, have you thought of a lesson on flowers? You could get an inexpensive field guide and discuss what you have seen while standing in lines. You could also read a biography of Walt Disney for History before you go. Barnes and Noble (and I am sure the library) would have an easy reading book in the kids section. My dd and I have read one before. You could also work in a Geography lesson based on the different lands. Hope this helps!

Another fellow homeschooler that likes that link! Very cool! :)

This year my son was very interested in how much things cost on vacation, and even what DL pays to run things. LOL Think he might be like his father and go in to some financial field. LOL

oh cool and ya last year my son learned what he saved in change and spent it on his suviners. Were doing the same thing this time too he seems to understand when we say we cant aford that or you dont have enough.

This site looks cool ty

For our upcoming trip Miss 6 is most interested too in finance and different culture. For example, coming from Australia she has learnt that there is different currencies around the world, and there are different words for everyday items, for example, "ketchup/tomato sauce", "cookies", and "candy". We've also worked on budgeting, and a budget is a plan of what we can spend. This helps too with too many souvineers!! Together they both be a huge learning curve for her.

Another homeschooler here! That link does have some pretty fun ideas. Thanks!
