I really like it but I have some concerns like everyone else. Here are things I wonder about and sort of wish they will happen.

*book fast pass+ in more than one park in a day
*more than 3 fast pass+ in one day at one park maybe 3 at a time and once you use them you can book more
* no tiers, I don't like the tier system
* more colors specifically purple

Anyone have any thoughts on this stuff?

I'm thinking.

When we were picking out colors the other day, I actually said "I wish they offered purple!"

I would like them to allow us to split FP reservations between parks, it would be convenient for those of us who park hop.

Perhaps you get 10 FP+ each day or maybe 6 or 9 and then you can use them however you want over the 4 parks.

More than one park per day will never happen now that they are tiering :(
I would like 4 in MK. The other parks are fine with 3 or even 2.
I do like the idea of being able to book more once you go through your 3.
The colors are fine with me.
I wish the shows were real FPs, that would be worth something.
Finally the tiers...I was on board with the concept of FP+, until the tiers. Now they lost me and I hate the whole idea of FP+ and I would rather just go back to the paper.

I hope you're not holding your breath on that.

I think they are having capacity concerns at 3. Even 4 could be a problem.

I think the smartest thing they could do would be to open up FP+ reservations across all parks. Then they could get rid of the tiers, most likely. It would spread people out.

People who park hop would be happy.

People who want to do 1 or 2 rides in one park, then say go to MK or Epcot for parades/fireworks and such would be happy. Make nighttime shows more appealing, like bring back reserved sections for F!.

You still would have people that don't park hop book their three at the same park.

I also think that on the day of, once you've used your FP+ reservation, you should be able to book another one.

I think if they opened it up across all parks, too many people would hop around just picking off the headliners.

Tiers must have been added over concerns about FP capacity. I think this would make it worse.

I think there would be a handful of people that do. The "superuberusers" ;) would do this. But you can still only do 3 in a day. So if you're at Epcot booking Soarin' and TT, then hop to MK to do one of the Mountains... it's not like you're in MK all day or Epcot all day doing all the headliners that park has. Everybody's "headliner" preference will be different on any given day. We all know that TSM is still really popular and will be booked up whether it's FP+ or FP-. When 7DMT comes out.... I don't even want to think about it. But it'll be busy. LOL

See, I think if they opened it across parks, it would might actually be worse than not tiering.

You'd have someone who would reserve TT, Soarin' and then hop over for a TSMM. Now they've sucked up headliners in 2 places instead of just 1.

As much as I want them to enable hopping, with tiering it's almost impossible. And without tiering, I think they'd have worse problems with capacity.

But they free up the headliners left, in the park that they left for the day. Now Mission Space and Illuminations (although I don't know why Ill is considered a headliner) are available.

Just like if someone left MK, they would free up say Thunder and Space Mountain if they only chose Splash that day.

Yeah, but think of the headliners as one group then. If you allowed hopping, people could be getting 3 FP+ prebooked for three headliners then. Clearly they have a problem with capacity or they wouldn't be putting in the tiers, which restrict the number of headliners below 3.

Right because they are "forcing" everyone to use them in one park per day.

I don't know... I think it could work. But who the flip am I? Nobody.

I thought they were going to allow it too, until they put the tiers in. Now if they did that, it would defeat the purpose of the tiers which is to limit the number of headliners each person can prebook.

But who knows what will happen in the end :)

Yeah, it definitely doesn't look like that's what they're going to do. But I'd like to see them try it.

Do they really need BOTH the tiers AND the one park per day rule?

If they're ultimately going to do tiering AND limit to no more than 3 per day all in the same park (with no same day FP), then one headliner per day just seems WAY too restrictive.

We don't park hop, so I'm fine with one park per day but hate tiering:headache: (if they're going to do tiering, they should at least allow for two different headliners per day).

Yes, I think people who park hop would focus on headliners for their FP+ and it would make capacity problems on those rides worse. They could possibly allow people to choose one FP+ per tier across the entire park system, if they tiered MK and AK, but that might direct too many people to lower tier MK rides.

You could argue that tiers might just be a temporary fix while approximately half the parkgoers don't have access to FP+, but I think they're a permanent fix for headliner capacity issues. We know that there have never been enough FP to meet demand for certain rides, and FP+ is not going to magically fix that. Limiting people to one time/per ride/ per day was no where near enough to fix that. Limiting people to three/per park/ per day might fix it at MK, until the Mine Ride, but not at DHS or Epcot

I hope you're not holding your breath on that.

Yep,
And it will be interesting to see if things stay the exact same when they get off-site on the system. Same 60 day window? Do they make any tiering changes, do they tier MK once off-site's on board, or before, or not at all? A lotta questions will be answered when they move to off-site.

Who knows? Maybe they're holding out purple bands as an off-site benie...

LOL :thumbsup2

My hopes... tiering will go away once all onsite visitors are only able to pull 3 FP+ in a day.
