List 'em.... ( we need a fluff thread, IMO ). :) :thumbsup2

I'll start with 3.

1. Buckwheat cereal

2. Wham!

3. "Pimple" Balls..... a rubber ball, just a little smaller than a baseball, that was hollow. You cut them in half to play "half ball"...... a city version of baseball played on the streets. They had a surface with "pimples" on them.

I don't know if anyone else remembers but Special K cereal used to be much differen than it is today---Then sometime in the 80's they "improved" it. I miss the old version.

hate to admit it but i have to say.. culture club!

Coke in a bottle. We would get them in a 8 (? I think) cardboard carrier that Mom would return for a bottle credit. That Coke was the best. I know they have them in those little bottles, but these were maybe 11 - 12 oz bottles. Sooo good.

What fun!!! Let me relive my childhood.

I could go on and on, but these things come to mind:

1. Sixlets (remember those, the little candies that came in a teeny tube of 6?)
2. Tiger Beat magazine
3. SNL Classics (Remember Rosana Anna Danna?)
4. The Love Boat and Fantasy Island (Saturday nights woo hoo)
5. Baby Alive
6. Evil Kenival
7. Drive In's (Herby the Love Bug hee hee)

Turkish Taffy
My metabolism
Filling the tank of my VW bug for $5.
Sheepskin seat covers.
Tab
The Beatles

Bubs Daddy bubble gum and various other candy we used to go to Ben Franklin for. We could get 2 candy bars and a pack of gum for a quarter.

Franko American used to make elbow mac-n-cheese in a can that I LOVED. They don't make the same thing any longer.

Drive-In Movies. (I know they still exist in some places, but not by me - haven't been to one since the early '80's.)

My small butt and perky girls. ;) I do like myself better now though. :thumbsup2

I miss the sitcoms. Friday nights with Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. In the days before TIVO you had to wait for your favorite show to come on. :goodvibes

From the 70s
Charlie's Angels
Spencer for Hire
Elton John in crazy outfits

From the 80s
Square Pegs
tight cuffed jeans
Wham!
Duran Duran

My cute little figure and penny candy...hmmmm maybe there is a correlation here...

Shag haircuts, feathered bangs, my dad's 1968 Cougar that I got to drive to school sometimes..

Sidewalks..

High Rise handlebars and banana seats on bikes. ( maybe that was the 60's)

Cat Stevens, not Yusef Islam...
Beach Boys
Chicago

They still make Sixlets! I usually see them at Easter!:confused3

Head yourself over to Walmart in the Halloween candy aisle--you'll find these there! We have a drawer-full of them right now.
