Earlier this evening, I was with a friend who just came back from a WDW trip. She and I talked about her trip and marvelled over Illuminations, and it makes me wonder--

Every so often, I'll read here or talk to someone about this topic, and the consensus seems to be that the "original" Illuminations was the one to see. Well, I never saw Illuminations until 9/00, so I wonder about what I missed before then.

Likewise, I never experienced "Horizons" and its orange scent. Nor have I seen the Electric Main Street Parade.

I regret having missed these attractions, and ask you now: what at WDW did you miss (because you are too young or didn't travel to WDW then) that you wish you hadn't?

I saw Mainstreet Electoral Parade the last two nights it was at MK and am really glad I decided to have dinner at Liberty Tree and watch it than keep my ps at the Rose and Crown that night.

I'm w/ you though about the original Illuminations and I would have loved to have seen Horizons.

Ditto... even though I wasn't born yet! :(

I don't remember ever seeing World of Motion or Horizons at Epcot, if I did too long ago to remember. :(

I got to see the very last night of the MS Electric Parade, very cool! We even got a sticker that day about it! It's still in my journal :) !

I DID get to experience 20K Under the Sea and Tapestry of Nations. Those are two things I bet a lot of folks missed.

Yet, I know I've missed a lot. For example, when I finally got to do the Amazing Seas attraction at Epcot, I knew it was only a shadow of what it once was.

I can't think of anything at WDW as I've been going since 1976. However since I didn't make my first trip to Disneyland until 1979 there is so much there that I missed. I would have loved to see the House of the Future and ridden on the cars that floated on air!

Not sure I missed anything, My first trip to DW was June 1975 )Argh, I now feel old) There was just magic Kingdom and that was the beginning of my addiction.:D

We never got around to riding Alien Encounter. :(

All the days I wasn't there!

I wish back in 1992 when DH & I took our first trip together we would have known that we would go so often in the future and bought into DVC then. (Did they even have it then?)
