They're tearing the roof off of our house!!!

My DH just came in and told me I "might want to be somewhere else today, because the're going to start taking the roof off of our house " Here's the Reader's Digest version of what's going on: house that's way too small for 5 people, all I asked for was a second bathroom, but up until a few months ago all I got was a toilet in a box. We now have a huge addition going up- I took some pictures, but I just have to figure out how to size them down and post them- with the existing roof being raised up to line up with the addition

My sympathies....but also an exciting time...mixed feelings to say the least.

We started in january and blew the back wall out of the house and excavated more foundation. I havent had a kitchen since january.
Looks like we will be finishing up in the next 2 weeks.

my best suggestion...get a port a potty, otherwise they will be inside using your bathroom. ick!

Just to add.

There are days when just the job foreman was here doing stuff and then there are days we had 2 electricians, 2-3 plumbers, 3-4 cabinet guys, and a painter or 2....on the same day...feast or famine...LOL
