A small update, that might interest very few. Three weeks-ish away from my trip and so thrilled. College has kept me so busy and family, I haven't been able to do anything Disney. I am so glad I packed and gathered what I needed early and planned early, would be pulling out my hair otherwise.

I wanted to make a few videos, but I can't promise that now. Homework is insane. I got myself into it though. My DSIL is still suffering from back problems. We might need a GAC this trip, but I will only suggest we use it if necessary. If anyone sees a young woman with a GAC card, please don't judge. I had to take her to the hospital this weekend. I am very worried that she won't be able to ride many rides. They might hurt her back too much. I know a GAC doesn't mean instant ride access and we have no desire to get nasty looks from ignorant people. We'll see.

I told DSIL she needs a GAC, so she needs to get a doctor's note. She has a herniated disc and I think what is becoming severe Sciatica. She's 22 (I think I can say her age). She looks a bit older, but still young, so people will probably wonder why she is in an ECV, and wholely moley those things are expensive! I hope by some miracle she feels better in two weeks, her meds are supposedly not doing much.

Have I mentioned I have ADHD and an anxiety disorder?

My ADHD is more manageable than my panic attacks...

I hear ya - I'm actually considering getting a GAC in case I need it, as I get very nervous and increasingly anxious in crowds sometimes. It doesn't happen ALL the time, but if it does happen I would be knocking people over in an attempt to run, screaming, out of the line and straight for the bathroom. I did "ok" on our last trip, but we did have to leave the line a couple of times. I hate it; it makes everything I do just a *little* harder - shopping, driving, traveling. I really don't care if people don't like me having a GAC - I love Disney, and I want to feel comfortable there (unlike all the other places where I just have to suffer).

Also, I am not opposed to turning around if someone is breathing down my neck and saying "excuse me, could you give me some personal space?" That's one of the reasons I usually need to travel with someone else - I need a buffer. I can create a buffer in front of me by simply slowing down and not standing close to the person in front of me - but it's the neck-breathers that drive me crazy sometimes!

So get the card, and screw the naysayers. That's my take.

Thanks so much!!! Things have definitely mellowed out since then. I appreciate it. We are SO close!!!
