My DSIL now has a herniated disc and torn muscle in her knee and she just cut a huge chunk out of one of her thumbs. I told her we really didn't need all of her in pieces.

Did you know that there is a basketball hoop and court of sorts in the Matterhorn at DL?

I told my DFIL that, he was like, "Really, you are a walking talking Disney know-it-all". I'm actually not, but I told him I'd like to be one day.

I did know that! I love being able to get people with Disney randomness.

I love how certain threads make you fear for the worst about your trip! (that was sarcasm) Bad wather, obnoxious stupid people, people getting hurt right before their trip, CMs not doing their jobs....ok BREATHE. 95% of the time everything and everyone is wonderful. Maybe I should carry a water gun for the other 5% of the time.

I take *royally flamed* as a compliment, especially when people assume things about my life. Don't tell someone who saw their husband and baby die in front of them that they didn't learn anything...

No one might get that, but I will wanted to just say there is one particular button you do not push with me, as I am sure everyone has that one button. Tread lightly with people you've never met...I'm sure I say things and assume things too that I shouldn't. Human nature I suppose.

I read that you lost your family, and I was so shocked and sorry to read it - but I'm sickened to think someone was saying something bad about you relating to that incident. I don't see the whole story here - but I'm sorry if that's what happened. It sounds like just about the biggest nightmare anyone could ever imagine.

Thank you Some people are just stupid and I have no problem informing them how stupid they are. How else are they supposed to learn? But I do not assume that I know everything either. There are many many people that have to live in worse situations than me and/or have experienced worse traumas than me. That is why it is best to not assume things about people. We/they look like any normal person, but you may not know what heavy burden they carry with them.

So after learning that AGAIN, NBC characters probably won't be appearing, Monsters Inc. characters, Jungle Book characters and Bambi characters all might not be appearing at MNSSHP, I told DSIL we should consider not going to MNSSHP, since that encompasses my nieces favorite characters. To say the least DSIL is PISSED because she bought the previously posted NBC outfit. Me & DSIL also bought outfits to wear. I told her, if we go, we will just have to keep our mouths shut and see and let DN enjoy herself, if she's not too upset that Jack isn't there. And then, we don't ever have to go again.

I would think disappointing locals would be a stupid thing for Disney to do, since we usually go to WDW more and spend more money. We are AP after all and this will be my third time going to WDW this year. We might go to MNSSHP next year, if NBC is added or all the other characters mentioned, but I doubt it they will. Between all five of us that's about $60 x 5 x 2years = $600, roughly. That may be chunk change to Disney, but then calculate all the other people that may decide to not go or not go again, and that's a lot of money.

SWW offers more and that's free with admission, which is my main arguement to this is a WAY overpriced event and whoever runs this event is totally moronic.

But watch DSIL say, "Well, let's jst go and see if DN has a good time". If we go, I will give a review based on DN view and my view. Obviously, since my DN is a preschooler, she might be much easier to please. Unless she sees all the NBC merchandise, realizes he's not there to meet and has a meltdown. Then I think my DSIL will be going Guest Relations to ***** some CMs out, although I already told her GR can't do anything whatsoever to change the situation

The only thing I am excited about is the week we go is MidTerm week at my college, so I get an extra week to goof off...I mean study I already got permission to do all of them when I get back

Did I mention one of my classes is entirely devoted to death and grief...and I wonder why I need a Disney vacation every few months...

And my advanced medical coding instructor has the thickest Alabama accent that I have ever heard and that really helps me out when she mispronounces medical terms...She's a nice lady, but listening to her is like listening to nails on a chalk board to me. Her accent going to drive me crazy...

On another happy note, I am happy/ excited about Hades and Gaston at MNSSHP; I hope all previous villians will also be there. I think deleting them would be ******* ********....I really don't cuss that much, but I wonder what these suits are thinking sometimes when they make decisions.

But while I will be happy with Mickey in Halloween attire, Hades and Gaston, my DN will care less about those characters and this trip is supposed to be about her. I just hope, if we go to MNSSHP that she will enjoy herself and forget about M&Gs...she's going through a tantrum phase. And as another poster put it, "If she's disappointed, I'm letting Disney handle my child."

Tantrums are not an acceptable way to express your upset feelings, but she's a preschooler, and I think I will try to stress that we shouldn't point out anything to her, like Jack missing, that would upset her. If she's happy, we should let her be happy. But what are we to do if she does notice? She's pretty smart cookie.

I just subscribed to TouringPlans, I had an entire review of it and I don't feel like rewriting about it. It's worth the discounted price I got of $7.95. The Lines App is amazing, but I will always love EasyWDW the mostestest Don't tell Josh, he might start charging too...

I like TouringPlans' "cheat sheets"; it will be SO easy to just hand the sheet to family and say, "this is how we tour" and it is easy to read.
