Your run sounds like a scary experience. I'm glad your day was fantastic despite of the creepy person on the trail.
I don't think I got any food allergy while in USA because this stomach thing has been going on for a very long time. Last December when I was in London, UK for a week I experienced the same thing. My stomach not god for months before I went to London. The week I was in London my stomach was fine and as soon as I came back home the diarrhea was back. After the trip to London I've tried to figure out what food the stomach is reacting on. I've found a few things but not enough to get my stomach back to normal. After 6 weeks in the USA I decided that enough is enough. Now it's time to find out what food makes the problem. I suspect too much fiber is the problem since fast food with little fiber is no problem for me to eat. I heard about FODMAP (low fiber diet) in December 2014. Already back then I tried to figure out what my stomach can handle and not handle. Then there was a period where I didn't bother to try and figure this out. But when I experienced that my stomach was fine for 6 weeks in the USA I got a new energy to try and figure all this out. Since all the tests came back normal from the doctor, I don't think I'm allergic to anything.
Thanks Lillian! It was a great day - I am less creeped out now, and I've decided that I need to run in more populated areas.
I am glad you are trying to figure this out, it's been going on for far too long to ignore anymore.
I have been eating whole 30 at home since i did my original whole55 days, till very recently. Last night was the first time since before January that we had ravioli for dinner. I'm trying to figure out if it is the cheese ( i ate a lot of cheese this weekend- first time i had cheese in the house this year) or the wheat flour but my stomach is not happy with me.
That is a smart plan to get Allison's ticket and show Suzi SoG.
I just learned this morning if you highlight part of a message, it lets you quote just that part of the message. Am I the only one who did not know that?
It was probably a little of both... I am seriously considering going back to W30 - esp for the time between trips... I have something like 60 days between trips - including TG and Christmas - it would probably be a good way for me to get through the holidays again.

I need to find a good way to get bulk coleslaw - that is one staple from my W30 that has continued through my life - and I love ghee, but I am too lazy to make it a lot of the time - so I need to make that in bulk too. OK - I am almost convinced...
I was thinking that too... And I think Suzi/Bradey would enjoy seeing the resort... There's not much to do there if you aren't staying there, but it's beautiful, and we could check out the shops - I remember them having quite a bit of Disney merchandise tax free and reasonably priced.
Hmmm....

I did not know that. I do my replies to darn early in the morning - LOL - I am lucky if I don't confuse anyone.

But maybe I'll try it sometime?
It's not a guarantee since BCV and BWV are on the same route, VWL, BLT, VGF and Poly villas are on one bus route and OKW and Saratoga Springs are on one bus route.
You were right to alter your route. I've done that, too. And I don't like to run in the dark.
My DH is always worried about me. I usually don't tell him scary stories like that because then he won't let me run.
OK - OK... But I'll at least have an idea.

I think you are missing a few examples up there.
Yah - it wasn't a good experience... The more I think about it - I wonder if the guy isn't living out there on the trail somewhere? The time I was gone would have been enough time for him to walk into town and then back to where he ducked off...

Regardless - I will not be running that trail again anytime soon... And definitely not without pepper spray.
I am pretty sure I "lightened" the experience when I told Josh about it - I think he would go bonkers if he knew how scared I truly was. However - sometimes I am incredibly over sensitive too - so that may have been another reason he wasn't too concerned?
Congrats on flights! I haven't flown AA in a long time, however for the right price and time I would fly them or just about any other airline!
Nov and Jan shaping up! I am excited to see where you are staying too!
Thanks!!! I am happy to have the flights - but now I have to pay baggage fees both ways too.... One more thing to add to the budget, I guess...

I really wanted to fly SW for this trip.
I know - I am so excited - I leave in a little over 2 weeks!!!! I am totally packed now.... I just have to wash (and wear) my favorite denim capris a few more times - LOL - I am planning to wear them on the flight that morning - so at least I know I won't forget them.

And then I have all of my last minute - morning of leaving - packing to do yet... Hair spray - make up - that sort of thing. SUPER EXCITED though!!!
Oh gosh yes, I know the feeling. I have done that before, booked flights and then they go down months later - that's the funny thing with flight, the rates can always be fluctuating!
LOL I think you may be talking about the wrong person! Gosh I wish I was going to Disney soon/doing a Disney race, but nope!
I did update my TR a little if you want to take a peek haha!
Oh my gosh. That is scary. I know the exact same feeling. It's especially scary when your alone and at a place where a lot of people aren't there. I am so glad you are ok and that creepy guy didn't come any closer to you.
That is awesome! 6 miles is great! :
Yummy, that sounds great.
That is hysterical, love it.
Gosh I know the feeling of overpacking - I always do it. That's great! Another thing to check off your list for the January trip. Is there a bus that goes to SoG? I can't remember.
And we are so excited to hear about this exciting time!
Thank you, enjoy this beautiful day as well!
I know!!! I just can't look now... I have to tell myself that "I got the best deal ever" and the "best flight I could get" - even though I didn't... and leave it at that. LOL Sometimes we must lie to ourselves to cope. LOL
Oh Alison - I am such a dork... I cannot believe I did that to you.

I knew I was talking to you when I was writing too - but my mind trailed off to Huggybuf and I remembered that she is doing Wine N' Dine next week... I am so sorry that I confused you two. I think I've done it before too? My sincerest apologies.
Hahaha... OK - I'll go check out your new TR title.
Thanks! That 6 miles was tough - it was fine until the very end - the final half mile... I am hoping for another 6 miles this weekend (on a different trail, in a different town, in a different county

) and hopefully the end will go better for me, since hopefully I won't have to alter my pace due to creepy people.
I know! I keep going back to that picture... It's soooo Victoria, I cannot even get over it.
Hmmm... A bus to SoG? As in, from the airport to SoG? Or from SoG to the parks? From the airport to SoG, there isn't a bus - sadly - no ME... So, Allison and I are getting a town car to pick us up at the airport and bring us to SoG - the same service will bring us the opposite direction too. There are busses that go from SoG to all of the parks - they are on a definite schedule, and run approx hourly - which is good in some ways, because we always know ahead of time when there will be a bus. However - they don't pick up at the regular Disney bus stops at the parks - they usually are in a different location - in a different direction. So, in most cases, we will use Poly transportation to/from the parks, because it's easier to find.
Thanks - I did - same to you!
Your MB turned out great -- love it! As for the creeper guy on your run...always, always, always trust your instincts! A friend of mine lost her sister in a situation where she was out running some wooded trails alone and she was murdered. So PLEASE be careful and trust your instincts!!! Please!
SO excited that you found airfare for the price you wanted! Yea! I've flown American a few times....they're not bad.
Thanks!
Oh good Lord! That is awful!!! And scary. I very sad reality. I will be very careful from now on. Thank you for letting me know.
I did... I am so relieved I found airfare - I was starting to get so nervous about it. They are going to be long travel days for us, but thankfully our long layover is at the beginning of our trip, because at the end, I am sure we will just want to get home.
Hey D, I just wanted to stop in and say hi and that I hope to eventually get somewhat caught up, lol.
Lara is precious, there really is nothing like a new life coming into the world.
Jonah is going to be Jake for Halloween, my husband's Facebook is where we usually post the pictures. Can I send you a request from there?
Hi Ashley!!! I am so happy to see you here! I was trying to PM you the other day to check on you and I couldn't find you anywhere! I am glad to see you and hope that all is well!
Thank you - we are so excited to have a neice and a nephew to spoil!
I saw that on FB yesterday - he has grown so much! He is so adorable! Thanks for sending the friend request - I've missed ya!
Your magic band looks great.
You should be proud of yourself for how hard you've worked with your weight loss. I know how frustrating it can feel when you plateau. There are many great tips online on how to over come a plateau. If you try a different route and you are still at your plateau then try a new goal not related to weight.
The guy on your running path was creepy. Trust your instinct and carry pepper spray just in case.
Thanks!
You are right - I really should look into other options and ways to overcome a plateau...

I will do that today and see if anything jumps out at me.

Hopefully I can find something that my body will cooperate with?
My next running investment will be pepper spray, for sure! Thanks!
Awwwww thanks!! It was a huge SHOCK to me. Of course, I reacted appropriately and cried!
I got voted in for best reaction as well
~Jennifer
Hahaha... That is awesome!
D!
I feel like it's been ages since I posted but I'm finally caught up with your PTR! Firstly, I'm so sorry for the recent losses in your family. I lost my grandmother in August and it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. She actually went to Disney World with us back in May and that's a memory I'll never forget.
Also, I'm SO happy that you're running! I've been running for about two years now and I'm signed up to run the WDW Half Marathon in January (on my birthday!). I'm hoping it'll be the first of many RunDisney races!
I'm glad to see you and the family are doing well! I've been following your Facebook page for the bags and love seeing all your designs.
Lissette
PS I'm also "hardheadedwoman" on FB and Instagram and love keeping up with fellow runners
Hello there!!!! It's great to see you back!!!
Thank you. I am sorry for your loss, as well. I am happy that you had those great memories with your grandmother though.
Congratulations on your first RunDisney event! Are you excited? How is training going? I'd love to do the Jan marathon sometime - but I am a little nervous about running in the winter - and I worry that being forced to train in those conditions and doing a marathon in Jan will be hard? But I guess many people do it, so it must not be that difficult. I guess - since I am hoping to do the Princess Half in Feb of 2017, I'll have the same battle (but worse) to overcome. You'll do great though - I am so excited for you!
I'll be searching you out on FB and Instagram... I've been a lot more active on Instagram lately, now that I've figured out how to use it.
Thanks for stopping by - it's good to see you and to catch up with you!

I worked out yesterday... I did T25 Alpha... I find it's a good work out, but I have a hard time with the twisting lunges... My knees don't like them. But I am definitely sweaty after. Here's my non-running "sweaty selfie" from yesterday... Now you guys get to see how awful I look with "wake-up" hair and after working out... It's not pretty. LOL Hopefully you all don't stop reading my TRs after seeing this photo. LOL
After I worked out... I made up a dozen + of boiled eggs to keep in the fridge this week. I also fried up some chicken to throw in salads and to eat with veggies this week. It just makes life easier - I try to do that on Mondays.
Then, I was upstairs for the remainder of the day... I was able to get 2 entire bags quilted and partially assembled.

I had them cut out and ready to quilt on Sunday - so I was a step ahead this week. Go me!
I made Sweedish meatballs for dinner last night... It was a new recipe and I think it's a keeper recipe - the family loved them.
Gus made Allison the sweetest video on FB last night - I wish I could figure out how to share it with you all... it was so adorable! Oooh - he has it set as public, so I think any of you can see it, if you want to go look... It's about 3 min long, and it's just adorable.

It's so fun to see how much they have grown and changed over these last couple of years. And truly - Gus has become like one of my own kids in this time, I love seeing how much he loves her.

Gus' video for Allison~~~~~~~~
Today, it's a Target day... I will have to bring a change of clothes with me to work, as V has an appointment this afternoon... I'll be lucky if I make it home before bed time.

More trip updates...
It's official - I am totally packed!

We leave in just a little over 2 weeks, and I cannot wait! It's coming so quickly!
I organized my luggage again yesterday.... I pulled out a few items... I added a few more. I think I will be OK.

I still have to add all of my last minute items the morning I leave - otherwise everything else is in there.
I hope you all have an amazing day!!! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you!
