~~ They're leaving the nest, sew it's time for a trip - or two - or three...~~ D~'s bag ~9/22 ~~

love your hair.. Really cute!
is it me or does Myrthe resemble suzi a little??

Cooper is adorable! Just love him. he is getting to be a big boy.
Not even going to comment on the leash.. Nope.

A nice calm trip to the vet......I only dream of that. Annie Bean is a terror!

Love the hair!

Love you hair Dorine! It is a great length and looks so easy.

Cooper is a wonderful big boy now! Our Labs ranged in weight from 65 lbs to 95 lbs when we had them. They are so missed. We are sticking with cats now as they are supposed to live longer, and they are easier to take care of.

Love the pic of V and the kittens. We had 2 cats for a long time; then our sweet girl cat died in January, so when Tyler moved to Houston he left his cat, Charlie, so our other cat who has been so depressed since Meemee died would at least have a companion, even though they aren't close like those 2 were. Then an outside cat brought a litter of 3 kittens to our home, we have yet to trap her and get her fixed. She is very wiley. We live out in the country and 2 of the kittens disappeared so we grabbed the remaining one a couple of weeks ago and brought him in, thinking we would give him to Tyler. Ha, we have fallen in love with this kitten. The other 2 cats are being pretty tolerant of him. I even took him to the vet and he was so good at 10 weeks old! These animals grab our hearts Dorine.

So glad V got to spend some time with family. So good for all of them. And yes, one girl is home and one to go. Soon D, soon!

Doing the happy dance for you that your trip is all paid and budgeted. I am on the "what the heck is Disney doing" rant as well when I see the costs of resorts and tickets and all the extras you have to pay for and how they are definitely out pricing the average family. It adds to DH's argument that other trips can be done much cheaper, and I have to agree with him. So glad you are able to have SOG and you found good airfare!

Allison is going to have some amazing adventures and memories to share when she returns. Hang in there mama.

I finally sent an email your way today!

Have an awesome weekend Dorine!

How great that V loves her new stich bag.

I'm glad to hear it went well at the vet.

Your hair looks great :D

Looks like Allison is having a great time.

Yesterday I spent all night (until 2.30 in the morning) watching youtube videos of a family of 3 from Manchester,UK trip to WDW. They make really great videos. Here is there youtube channel if you want to take a look
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChgpwXzFRV3PG8g81aJF1ew

I just wanted to come out of lurkdom and say Hi from another Minnesotan! I live in Minnetonka. No, not in one of THOSE houses. Or on the lake. In a 1960s subdivision, actually.

I work across the Cities and you are right - the heat during the commute is really AWFUL! I'm jealous of your 12 steps to the upstairs.

It's always fun to "see" someone else from MN. I know there must be more MN peeps out there but they are not easy to find.

Your hair looks really cute. I have to get mine cut before vacation. I'm glad Cooper behaved himself at the vet's. I don't think my cats are sure what a dog is. They've never been outside. My neighbors all have dogs but they've only heard them.
Nothing exciting is going on right now. I stopped at Sam's for some Disney gcs. I like the 3 packs. Now I have to combine them so I don't carry around some many. The Target by me has the gift cards in electronics but then so does my store.
We're still getting ready for the remodel. There are so many new people at work right now. It should be interesting.
My daughter and I are thinking of going down to the National Park Sunday. It's National Park System's 100th anniversary.
Have a good day.
Liz

Thank you - I am so happy that I cut it off... I was really debating about it, because I really wanted to see how it looked longer, but it was just at the point where I didn't enjoy it at all anymore, so it was time. I like it so much better now.

Yes, he was a good boy, much to my surprise.

Yay for grabbing some Disney GCs. :woohoo: Hopefully the remodel goes well when it starts, especially with having so many new people. I hope you enjoy the National Park on Sunday, you are very lucky to have one so close to you. :lovestruc

Your hair looks very cute. I like that length.

Allison looks like she is having fun. Do they do most of their traveling using public transportation?

Thanks - I really like it too.

The is enjoying herself... Yes - all of their travel is done using public transportation... Fuel is incredibly expensive over there, and for most people - it's not economical at all to travel by car unless they are taking a trip... Which I think has been one of the hardest things for Allison to get used to? :scratchin As we have no need for public transportation - it's not even available by us... So the other day, when she had her mishap getting home from Amsterdam, I think that was the first time in her life that she had ever ridden in a Taxi cab... Mother fail right there... I'd never taught my dd how to hail a cab, and the first time she did it - she had to do it in a foreign country...

Your hair looks cute. I like mine a little longer, but can't stand it in the summer so I always get it cut shorter. I don't like myself in pony tails or I could leave it longer, but it's just too hot. It looks like Allison is having the time of her life. What's a little homesickness when you're experiencing all that. That is a long time to be away though, so I'm sure that was to be expected. I'm heading up to the lake today with my daughter's family. It's going to be cooler though so not sure how much swimming we'll do. Last time they were up it was so hot that we just went swimming all the time!

Thanks! I am so happy that I chopped it! It' makes a huge difference.

She is having a great time overall, and I think the closer that coming home gets, the more she is enjoying herself - which is good.

Enjoy your time at the lake! It's been so rainy - hopefully the sun is out for you.

love your hair.. Really cute!

Cooper is adorable! Just love him. he is getting to be a big boy.
Not even going to comment on the leash.. Nope.

Thanks! I really like it now! I am glad I cut it off - it was just getting too annoying.

Maybe a little, from certain angles... Myrthe is much shorter than Short Squat Swoozie though...

Are Gentle Leaders bad??? I love them... I'd never be able to take my dogs for a walk without them - they pull me way too much.

A nice calm trip to the vet......I only dream of that. Annie Bean is a terror!

Love the hair!

Ours weren't too calm at all, until I got a Gentle Leader for MM... Now I can take either of them anywhere, together even.

Thank you... I am really enjoying it shorter. :lovestruc

Carol!!! It's always so nice to see you here... I did get your email yesterday, I will try to respond asap... You know how that goes. It was so great reading about everything you have been up to... It was nice to catch up - I enjoy reading your emails so much! :lovestruc

Awwwh... It sounds like the kittens are keeping you busy though. I love kittens myself - they are soooo cute, but if given the choice, I would take dogs over cats any day. I believe that animals are good for the soul though - especially when we are dealing with empty nests - I need someone to "mother" and the dogs - grudgingly - let me do so. LOL

Yes - she enjoyed her time with the family a lot, she always does. :lovestruc Yup - one girl home and one more to go... Ack!!! I can do this!

Oh yes - those Disney prices... I really am thankful that I can do SoG... There is NO way any of these trips would have happened with out that option. It was only a matter of time before Disney started to feel the pinch in their wallet... I hope they step back and re-evaluate this giant mistake... After October... I'd like some light crowds too. LOL

I can't wait to hear all about everything when she comes home... However - I do think she won't have much to tell me about, since we've done a pretty good job keeping up on Skype. I love modern technology for this reason. :lovestruc

Thanks Carol - same to you! :lovestruc

I knew she would - but there's always that moment of "maybe not"... LOL So, I am always glad when anyone loves their bags.

Thanks!

Oooh - I will have to go and check it out... I've tried to watch people's Youtube channels about Disney before and I just cannot get into them... But I will try to take a peek at this one and see how I do. :scratchin

I hope you have a nice weekend Lillian! :lovestruc

I just wanted to come out of lurkdom and say Hi from another Minnesotan! I live in Minnetonka. No, not in one of THOSE houses. Or on the lake. In a 1960s subdivision, actually.

Hi!!!! Welcome!!! Hahahaha... your post cracked me up... "THOSE houses" LOL... I can totally visualize someone saying that to me. :lmao: That is such a nice area though - close to almost everything. ::yes::

UGH - yes, that commute... Like I said - I don't ever have to do it, and I am thankful for that... Lots of time wasted. Are you bucking the traffic both ways? I guess, at some point, you must be, because when you get to the middle, there's really no place safe from it. ::yes:: But - I will say - sometimes getting up those 12 stairs takes me just as long as if I were to drive in the traffic... LOL Lack of motivation is real.

I love seeing people who are near me here... I agree - I don't think there are many - or there probably are, but not in this section... So, it's fun to catch up and "meet" my neighbors. I hope you'll continue to follow along... And if you ever head over to the MOA or anything - I am always up for doing Dismeets - Let me know. ::yes:: Thanks for introducing yourself. :lovestruc

*****************************************************************************************************

I had a great day yesterday... I worked out right away, and then I skyped Allison for about 5 minutes... It's always nice to chat with her.

I worked upstairs all day... I worked on my custom order, and then I worked on my own bag... All. Day. Long. I made good progress on both.

I am hoping to finish both bags today... I have nothing else going on, except for working. So, that's my plan for today. ::yes::

Please keep Allison in your thoughts and prayers this weekend - she will be traveling again, and that always makes me so nervous.

I hope you all have a nice weekend - sending prayers and Pixie Dust out to all of you!

D~

Disney is great training ground for using a taxi. We often use one to go from one resort to another for ADR's. :)

Your haircut is just adorable! Love it!! Nice shirt, too! :thumbsup2

Love the fence you recovered from your old house, you can totally create something special from it.

Of course V loved her bag, it's too cute! This is going to sound silly but what does UPB stand for when you refer to your bags?! :stitch:

Safe travel wishes to A! I hope she's a little less home sick and enjoying her adventures.

So I was browsing airfare last night and I'm happy to report that my Feb airfare has been purchased!! Couldn't pass up the amazing price...round trip from Chicago to Orlando was $142 per person!! I paid almost $1000 for our flights last Feb so I was beyond thrilled with this airfare!

Happy Saturday!

Where is Allison traveling now? Is she on her way home?

This evening a hosted a geocaching event. We ended up being 21 participants. People were having a so great time that they didn't want to leave  So the event lasted 40 minutes long than announced. I had a great time as well and I didn't have to be anywhere after the event so I didn't mind staying after the official end time of the event.

Tomorrow I have to preorder a taxi for Wednesday when I'm going to take a look at my new car. I have to have my huge electrical wheelchair with me so that's why I need a taxi to get to and from the garage. On Thursday Ulf and I are off to Barcelona, Spain for some geocaching and on the 1st of September my parents and siblings are coming to Barcelona to celebrate my fathers 60th birthday.

Thank you! Love having my hair short again and that is one of my favorite shirts from Maine... It was actually V's - but she never wears it, so I took it back. LOL

Thank you - UPB stands for Ultimate Park Bag. ::yes:: Which is the style of that particular bag.

Thank you - continued prayers would be great! :lovestruc

Yay!!! Glad you found airfare - that is always such a huge battle! That is a pretty excellent fare too - I am very jealous - ours hasn't dropped that low yet, but I am still stalking it. LOL

Thanks - I hope you have a great weekend too!

She is traveling to another city in Europe... She won't be home until September... So, we still have several weeks left. But we are counting down the days.

That sounds like fun! I am glad you had a great time!

Yay - I hope everything goes well and you are able to get the taxi you need... And safe travels to Barcelona on Thursday! :woohoo: Enjoy your trip!

****************************************************************************************************

I was literally in my sewing room from 7:30am yesterday morning, until about 4pm... Josh went into work, so I decided to buckle down and get some work done myself. ::yes::

First, I finished last week's custom order - which is a good thing, as this week's is a bit more labor intensive - so I will need all of my time devoted to it this coming week.

Then, I finished my 2nd trip bag... I tried something new... I have not decided if i like it or not, and I have not decided if I will ever do it again - but it was fun to put a new twist on one of my bags, and if I don't like it - I can *sort-of* take it off easily. ::yes:: I have always thought that Donald gives so much character to Chip and Dale - I really wanted to get him on the bag, but the space I have to applique in is quite limited and depending on positioning - 2 characters is typically my max... I really had to think outside the box on this one, and thankfully it came together nicely. My only issue with it, is if having Don sticking up like that will annoy me? :scratchin There is no way I will know until I actually carry it - so we will see. Donald may not make the cut? It was 2 full days of applique work on this bag though, and overall, I am happy with it. :lovestruc

20160820_143851.jpg

Today... I am going to be a little lazy this morning and drink my coffee. I did not get out for a run yesterday - so I think I will try for one this morning. ::yes:: It seems that my runs have been limited to twice per week, because I just haven't been able to fit them in otherwise. Better than nothing, I guess.

I am happy to report that one of my pairs of shorts is fitting me better - not the pair I forced myself to wear last week - a different pair I wore over 4th of July week, where I was sporting a pretty large muffin top... Well, the muffin is pretty much gone on these shorts - which is progress in my book. Last summer, I could pull these particular shorts on and off with out unbuttoning them, so that is kind of my guage right now... I just think back to the time where I couldn't even pull these shorts up past my knees - this could be so much worse, right?

Then, this afternoon, V and I are headed to the mall... First off - I need to buy her Birkenstocks for our Disney trip... This is something I splurged on for Allison for her's and I've decided that they are a good investment - not only are they great in WDW, but they are great in Europe - so each girl will have the opportunity to put some miles on these sandals... I know that Allison wears her's frequently - I am hoping that V does the same. ::yes::

Once we are done with that, we may walk around the mall for a while. V's senior pictures are due for the yearbook by October 21... So, we only have a few weeks to get them taken, and have Allison get the edits done once she comes home... So I want to make sure we have all of her outfits lined up and ready to go for her senior pictures. We've purchased a few things here n' there, but I want to wander around to make sure we aren't missing out on anything great. ::yes::

And that's about all for today. I've banned myself from my sewing room today - I've been up there a lot lately, by choice, and I need to take a day off. :lovestruc

Continued prayers and Pixie Dust for Allison as she travels... I will talk more about that, once she reaches her destination... You know how I am about travel.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!!! Sending Pixie Dust out to all of you! :lovestruc

D~

Your bag looks great. My first thought when I saw the bag was that Donald will be in the way when you want to find things in your bag. If you decide that Donald has to go I'm sure you will be able to use him on another bag. So I think that all the work with the applique isn't wasted even if you choose to take Donald off the bag because you can use him on some other item.

I hope you and V have a great day at the mall today and that you find the things you are looking for.

Safe travels for Allison.

I was thinking the same thing. Donald may get in the way when you're using it or trying to get something out of it. It is really cute, though.pair of snada
I hope you find a pair of Birkenstocks for V. One of my friends had a pair that she wore for years until they finally fell apart.
Work has been interesting. Yesterday it seemed like every customer had a weird problem. Also, our big photo printer decided to over heat and almost melt. The heater sensor quit working. Then one of the instant printers decided to have a breakdown. The Fuji tech came in and fixed everything for, now.
Today it is finally cool enough to open windows in my house. It should be a good day for hiking in the park.
Have a good day.
Liz

Ultimate Park Bag!! Thank you!

Love your new bag but it does look like Donald may get in the way, is there a way to make him a bit smaller maybe? In any case, the bag is super cute. Love those chipmunks!

Senior pictures!! I need to make an appointment for my senior to get his picture taken. It's so boring!! All of the boys have to wear a shirt and tie. How original and unique is that?! Ugh.

I hope A has made it to her next destination safe and sound!

Enjoy your Sunday!

I love your haircut! That length suits you. I really enjoyed the pics of Allison and Myrthe as well. What an adventure she is having! And she always looks so happy and stylish- I have to say that I am in awe of her eyebrows, Lol. I'm glad you got to skype with her before the next leg of her journey. I'll keep her in my prayers for continued safe travels.

It looks like you have had quite a productive weekend! The bag is awesome! I think when you are wearing it, with the Donald facing away from you, it won't be in the way. However, when you are putting things in and out of it while not wearing it, then it might get in the way. You are right, though, you probably won't know until you try it out. I like the Donald though!

Yay for your shorts fitting! I think clothes are a much better gauge than a scale for weightloss. I have found so many pairs of shorts while unpacking that I had forgotten about because last summer I had just had a baby and couldn't wear any of my usual clothes. It stinks, though, because sometimes when you gain and lose (esp. after pregnancy) you can weigh the same, but your body shape and composition is different. I hope you are able to keep up this streak you are on and continue to feel better and better! Lookin good on your run!

Good luck shopping with V. Hopefully you will find some stuff she is happy with for her Senior Pictures. I imagine it is a lot of pressure trying to find something that is just right. I remember shopping for my senior pics and driving my Mom nuts trying to find something I liked. Of course, looking back now, my outfits look ridiculous but back then they were "like totally cool"! Lol:rotfl2:

We had a great weekend! We went to Otake falls and had a swim and a picnic. It was a little bit of a hike from the car to the falls but once we got there it was so lovely and secluded. Yesterday, we did some more unpacking and hung some pictures on the wall. Also, we found a table for our kitchen! It is 2nd hand and the chairs need to be recovered, but we only paid $80 for the table and 4 chairs, so I am thrilled! I hope you have a great Monday!

I can see where you might think that, due to the way the photo looks... I took some additional pictures this morning, and I'll explain my thought process better below. :)

Thanks - we had a great day!

Thank you - that means a lot!

I can see where you may think that from the photos I took... So, I took more this morning and hopefully that helps a little with the visual. :) I'll post them and explain better below.

We did - she has been looking for them for a while, because she knew I was planning to get a pair for her... So, she had put them on hold the day before (like I'd asked her to if she found them), and we went yesterday to pick them up. It was an easy shopping trip.

YIKES!!! That si a crazy day - hopefully the rest of your week is much more enjoyable. :thumbsup2

Yes - it's wonderful - I love the crispness of this weather, we threw our windows open the other day too... It's perfect sleeping weather. ::yes::

Thanks, same to you.

Thanks! As I said above, I took extra pictures this morning, I will post them below and explain better. I can totally see where you all would think that with the photos I posted. :) So, hopefully these new pictures clarify a bit better.

Senior pictures are soooo expensive... Thankfully we have Allison to do them for us... She is experienced and she was Yearbook Editor last year - so she knows exactly what she is doing... We just have to be ready when she gets here. LOL

She did arrive safely... It was a bit scary for us - but as usual, it was a non-issue.

Thanks - I hope you did too! :lovestruc

Thank you, I am very much enjoying it being shorter again... For a while there - I just couldn't even stand to wash it, because it was annoying... LOL I will be sure to tell Allison that - she takes a lot of pride in her make up - she is quite talented at it, and I do hope that she chooses to go into some sort of cosmetology, as that is where her passion is. :lovestruc

I took more pictures of the Chip-Dale bag for you guys... I can see where you all may think that he would be in the way by the pictures I posted... I'll explain better and post more pictures below. ::yes::

Tell me about it - LOL... My composition is soooo much different this year compared to last summer even... It's terrible. I am working on it though - and I am hoping that by the time our trip rolls around, I am feeling a little bit better about how I look and carry my weight. Yay to you for finding more shorts - or the same ones you had, but you'd forgotten about... Sadly - I do that a lot too.... I'd forgotten that I'd won a lot of denim capris on Ebay last spring, because when they got here, I'd just tucked them away... I ran into them the other night, and I was super excited... I am a little afraid to try them on though - as I am nervous that they won't fit... I plan to give myself a few weeks here yet. ::yes::

We got her Birkenstocks - that was the main reason for the trip... I need her to have time to break them in before Disney... And when a person is not used to Birks - they definitely need the time to break them in. ::yes:: Her's are super cute though - and we wear the same size - so I may have to steal them occasionally. :scratchin Still on the hunt for Senior picture outfits though...

I saw your pictures on FB... It looks like you all had a wonderful time! :woohoo: And yay for finding a table/chair set for such a good price! That is awesome! Glad to hear you are getting a little more settled as the days go on. I hope you had a good day today! :)

OK - so first things first... I am posting more pictures of my bag... Please trust me, when I put added features like this on a bag - I put a lot of thought into their positioning and how they are going to lay, so as not to be in the way. My concern with Donald being annoying - wasn't that he would be in the way, it was more that I was concerned that he would fall forward and not stay upright, as then a person wouldn't be able to see him... The way he is attached to the bag, and his location - he would be no more in the way than a park map - as this particular pocket was designed for. Me personally - the only thing I carry in this pocket, is sometimes my phone...

As you can see from the top picture - he is completely attached to the front of the slip-in pocket - so the entire pocket is usable. Also, from the second picture, you can see the he doesn't interfere with the main compartment at all... So, I don't think he will get in the way? :scratchin Like I said, my concern is of him falling forward - he is pretty stiff and stabilized - so I don't think that will be an issue? :scratchin I hope these pictures explain a little better.... :)

So... Anyways - on to the rest of my day...

I did go for a run yesterday morning... No tracking devices used, just me and the road... It was a great run and it felt good. I wish I could squeeze it into my schedule more often, but the last several weeks - it seems like I can only manage twice per week...

Then V and I went shopping... We were able to get a lot accomplished in a short time yesterday... Josh pulled the parts I needed to fix the back tail light on my Edge (I've been driving Josh's dad's car this summer - not because of my tail lights, but because he needed someone to drive his extra car as it wasn't getting driven enough) - so I've been lazy about fixing my tail light, as I haven't been driving my Edge much. Anyways... We went to Chipotle for lunch... Then we got the parts for the Edge - a whopping $12! Then we went to buy V's Birkenstocks - at the same time, I got my bi-yearly new black Vionic Tide flip-flops... So, at the moment we are set for park shoes. :woohoo:

We stopped at Target for Starbucks, and while we were there, Allison skyped me... Yes - I was THAT person in Target... Not only on the phone, but video chatting for the world to hear... But it was my baby girl! She looked soooo good... For several weeks now - I've not been seeing the smile in her eyes... You know, a person can smile, but it's totally different when your eyes light up too... That was there again and it was wonderful to see it. She is staying in Italy for several days, with family friends of Myrthe's... And I think she had a connection with the "mom" - and I think this is really good... As much as she loves her aunt and uncle - I am a very "hands on" mom - and I truly believe that hugs can heal the soul... I am not sure that she has had a genuine hug since she left home? That may sound strange, but I have been wondering about that lately... Anyways - from what it appeared on Skype yesterday - she was able to have a "mom" connection... And I think that was just what she needed. :lovestruc She looked genuinely happy, and it was so good to see it.

After Target we came home, my tail light now works in the Edge - which is a relief - I wanted that done before Allison came home and it became a daily driver again. We had a nice dinner on the grill, and then V and I started to watch the entire Harry Potter series - we needed a refresher course before our trip. ::yes::

A couple of pictures from Allison yesterday...

That's about all... Today, I will be working out this morning and work in my sewing room all day.

I hope you all have a wonderful day - sending Pixie Dust out to all of you! :lovestruc

Ok I totally misunderstood why Donald might be a problem. I know you put a lot of thought into your bag, but I didn't think of the problem that Donald would bend forward and then nobody could see him. I only thought of him being a problem when getting things in and out of the bag. Hopefully he won't bend so people can't see your amazing bag

Sounds like you enjoy your run. I'm glad you are able to run a few times a week at least since you like it so much.

How great that you could help Josh's dad out by driving his car this summer. And it sounded like it was good timing as well. I'm glad you can get the back tail light fixed on your car now. I don't think the price for the parts you needed for your car was that expensive. But then again I don't know what that kind of stuff costs in the US. Here a lightbulb for the car costs at least $12 or more.

How great that you got the shoes both you and V needs for your WDW trip.

How great that Allison get along so well with family friends of Myrthe's and found a good connection with the mom in the family. It looks nice where Allison took the pictures.

For the past week it has been very warm weather in Tromsø compared to what's normal in the middle of August. We have had 77ºF outside and sunny. Today it's 59ºF outside. Normally it's around 50ºF this time of year.

I managed to get a taxi for Wednesday to the garage. Now I just have to cross my fingers that the taxi arrive as planned.

I think your new haircut is cute! I go to get my hair cut on Thursday and I'm counting down the minutes. Lol! I desperately need one!

I like the addition of Donald Duck on your bag. It looks like Chip and Dale are looking at him.

I'm glad Allison is happy. I'm a huge hugger, too, and I totally get it! I hope she enjoys her time in Italy.

Trying to catch up...

I love your hair cut! It looks fabulous. I also love your new bag and think the addition of Donald is adorable -- such a great idea!

I'm glad Allison is doing better. I know exactly what you mean by her smile not reaching her eyes and needing a "mom connection" -- I've been there with Alyssa before and have been so grateful for the people who have been able to provide that needed connection for her when she is away from me. Speaking of Alyssa, she left to go back to school yesterday. The visit was definitely not long enough, and I realize that she really is an adult now. She'll be 22 this week and this was the first time I've ever stepped back and noticed that she is definitely an adult. It was an odd realization and it shifts the dynamic in our relationship somewhat, but that's ok. The other big development is that she and her boyfriend are very serious and are talking about marriage next summer, so we had a lot of conversations about that. Ack! I'm not ready!

We're working on outfits and such for Brie's senior pictures, too. We had some of them taken already but need to do another session to get the rest. We combined the first part of her senior picture session with a family picture session since we had such limited time while Alyssa was home.

Italy -- *swoon* -- it's on my bucket list! I hope Allison loves it!

Keep up the great progress in your fitness endeavor -- you are so inspiring to me!

Are Gentle Leaders bad??? I love them... I'd never be able to take my dogs for a walk without them - they pull me way too much.

Read this:
Gentle Leader

Donald may not make the cut? It was 2 full days of applique work on this bag though, and overall, I am happy with it.

I really do LOVE the new design of your bag.. i was thinking the same thing?? How will he stay up? Especially after a ride on Splash?!?! LOL...
I do love love the design!!

I am glad Allison is doing well! can't wait for her to get HOME! since your not coming here...

I was literally in my sewing room from 7:30am yesterday morning, until about 4pm... Josh went into work, so I decided to buckle down and get some work done myself. ::yes::

I love days like that. I wish I could have more days of "hiding" in my craft room. I think it's good for the soul. (At least for me it is).

I like the bag but I think you're right. Only time will tell if he'll hold up or not. It's definitely cute though.
