How great that Allison has no cavities
I'm crossing my fingers that you don't need a root canal and that your dentist will be able to fix the filling with a new filling
Sounds like you had a great day in your sewing room yesterday
Have a great day with Allison's BFF's mom and with the girls later today
Thanks - I hope so too... I just hope it isn't too painful, if that's what I need.
It was a great day - it's nice to have a feeling of accomplishment.
Thank you - I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend!
Even when you don't have big Disney news, I enjoy checking in every day to see what you're up to I like your attitude about life and your quest for weight/size loss is motivating to many others. I feel your pain on the dentist - I had a bad experience when I was young and have never quite gotten over it. If you do have to go thru a root canal, they're really not too bad. I've been thru worse! Looking forward to your ADR's and seeing how your trip comes together!
Hahaha... Thanks - I am glad you enjoy reading along. I try very hard to keep this PTR on the Disney subject... Or at least relating to Disney in some way.
Thanks - sometimes it's really hard to keep my mind in a nice place regarding my weight, size and healthy lifestyle... Despite that - I also believe in "keeping it real" - so I do share my ups and downs, because I know that many have them, just as I do... So sharing both my struggles and my triumphs is an important part of the journey for me.
It sounds like your bad dentist experience was pretty awful, it must be hard that it's still difficult to go to the dentist.

I am hoping that a root canal won't be too terrible - but I am still terrified of it.
Thanks - I will be making my ADRs during the month of April, and I am very excited for them.
Have a great Easter weekend!
MM looks so cute with the ice cream. He probably will think that every time you get in the car he gets DQ.
I'm glad Alli didn't have any cavities. Hopefully getting the filling in your tooth redone will take care of the problems you're having.
I'm glad you found the missing villans cup. I used to avoid DD's room whenever I could. It was such a mess.
DD had a rough day yesterday. A car rolled across the parking lot at work and hit her car. In the picture she sent it looked like someone missed when trying to park and hit her car instead. She drives a Jeep so the other car got the worse of it. The Jeep is mostly scrape.
d up with a small dent. The owner of the car that hit her has insurance so that's good.
Yesterday it was 70 outside and today we're getting rain and snow. Don't you just love Spring.
Have a good day
Liz
Hi Liz!!!!
Hehehe... That's what concerns me - LOL.
I sure hope so too... I am scared to death about this root canal.
LOL - I do avoid the girls' rooms as much as possible... I can't even stand to look in them sometimes... They have gotten better as they've gotten older - but still...
That is such a bummer about dd's car. I sure hope that she is able to fix it easily and quickly... Just glad she wasn't in it and no one was hurt.
Have a great Easter weekend Liz!
You had to shovel? eeek! Thankfully this year i think we had a total of about a foot total for all of winter!!! THANK GOODNESS NO SNOW HERE! I am dying to get my camera out!
I can't read about the dentist.. it makes my skin crawl so good luck!!!
Yes - I shoveled... But I think most of the snow we got the other day is gone now. I don't mind it at this time of year - it goes so quickly.
Yah - I dislike the dentist too...
I hope you have a great Easter weekend!
Ugh, that's too bad about your tooth not feeling so great. I hope everything works out ok and its something your dentist can fix without too much pain/trouble.
Enjoy your lunch today with your friend and all the errands! I have to say, I agree with you, I always enjoy running errands, especially with my mom. It's always fun.
Happy Easter to you and your family Dorine! Enjoy!
I sure hope so too... I am super nervous about it. But I really can't ignore it - or I am sure it will get worse.
Thanks - it was a lot of fun... We always have a good time.
Thanks - Happy Easter to you and yours as well.
Thank you - same to you!!! I hope you have a wonderful Easter!
Hi D~! Still here following along, just haven't had the chance to comment! First off, I love the bag! It's so adorable. My boyfriend and I will be going Oct 30-Nov8, so we're definitely going to be going to the Halloween party on Halloween, which is crazy of me, I know. I've seen the possibility of maybe the Christmas party starting on Nov 7? If this turns out to be true, we may try to go to that as well.
So sorry to hear about your knee! I do hope it is feeling better. I dealt with knee problems for almost 10 years. It started when I was 16, and they just kept telling me physical therapy and keep working at it. Finally ended up getting surgery at 25 and it's never felt better! I hope it does go away though, I know how annoying it can be, specially when you need to go up and down stairs all the time!
I love what Allison posted about you! What a kind thing to do, specially when most teenage girls just try and fight with their mothers. It's great to see such a strong relationship ^_^ It's really refreshing to see and makes me want to do something special for my mom!
I hope you have a fabulous Easter weekend!
No worries! It's great to see you! Thanks for checking in!
MNSSHP on Halloween - that will be fun!!! We've done it twice - both times, we chose the night before Halloween to go... and it was very busy that night, as it was sold out.... So, I can only imagine it will be just as busy on the actual holiday... But it will be a lot of fun! And it's such a great party - my favorite!
It would be awesome if your could do
MVMCP too.
I agree - I've struggled with knee problems for ~um~

probably close to 25 years now... I dislocated this knee in one of my high school cheerleading competitions - and because of that, this knee joint has always been a little weak... I've dislocated it several times since then - the last time being about 10 years ago, when I was at my heaviest - I was walking one day (in Target no less) and it popped out. Over the last few years and during my strength training - I've been very careful to target the muscles around my knee to strengthen that area, and it's helped considerably. I kind of assumed that I was over the biggest hurdle and my knee problems were a thing of the past. Whatever I have going on now is not from another dislocation - as I know what that feels like - LOL... I do believe it's a ligament issue... It seems to be healing - but I still have pain in certain circumstances - so I am trying to be very cautious of those movements and positions. Otherwise - I am able to walk normally and also do stairs.
Thank you... I am so lucky to have my girls!

I am a little shocked, myself, that our relationships are a strong and as fun as they are - I honestly never expected them to be this way. I am not sure what I expected? But it happened and I love every moment with them and who they are... And I am so thankful that they appreciate me just as much. Don't get me wrong - our lives are not all kisses, flowers and dreams - LOL We have our disagreements and our issues... but that's all part of life and relationships. Most of the time - we have fun and we get along well.

I hope you do something special for your mom and recognize her - it sure made me feel good that Allison did that for me - it made me feel blessed beyond belief!
Thank you - I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend too!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!
Thanks so much!!! I hope you have a wonderful Easter too!
I really hope you don't have to have a root canal, but if you do, they really aren't too bad. The worst thing about them is how long you have to hold your mouth open and the fact that it takes a couple visits. If you have a good dentist that takes care to numb you up, so that you can't feel anything, then all you have to do is open wide and let them work. It takes longer than a filling, which is the part I don't like.
You are lucky to have such loving daughters. And they are lucky to have a mom who spends so much time with them.
I hope to too Sue... Thanks for the pep talk and the words of encouragement.

Part of the reason I am so scared, is that I have no idea what to expect... Thanks for taking the time to give me a short synopsis.
Thanks!!! I do love them very much and I love spending time with them - they are a lot of fun! I am very thankful that they are who they are - they are good girls!
I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend Sue!!!

Yesterday was a whirlwind of craziness!
I started my day off with a heavy lifting session... And I did manage to do squats for the first time since I injured my knee. I was very cautious and I didn't go as low as I normally go, and I used a bit lighter weight than I typically do... It went OK - and I am not feeling any issues in my knee... However - my rear is sore - as it should be, from not doing squats in almost 3 weeks.
Then I got ready to head out for my crazy day... I ran to the vet to get food for the boys... Then I met Allison's BFF's mom for lunch - we had so much fun! I always enjoy spending time with her - she is such a delightful and loyal friend - just as her dd is to Allison. We sat there for 2 hours and chatted... Of course, making plans to do it again soon.
Afterwards, I ran home to pick up the girls... V drove everywhere yesterday...
We drove to pick up V's sunglasses...
We went to JoAnn's to grab some fabric...
We went to the bank....
We went to Michael's...
We went to V's appointment....
We went to the mall to pick up Allison's new glasses...
We came home...
All in all - it took us approximately 4 hours.
Josh decided he wanted fish fry for dinner last night... So - we decided to go to a little place which was voted "the best dang fish fry in Minnesota"... Yup - it was busy. We go there all the time, actually... And us locals have known it's a hidden gem for years. But now everyone else knows it too. Yup - we had to wait almost 3 hours for a table... Is it worth a 3 hour wait??? Maybe? Well, maybe to others - but we live close enough that we can go any time... But we waited just the same. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks - quite honestly, I am not a big drinker - and I had my drink on an empty stomach, so it wasn't sitting well with me - I drank water for most of the night. We were finally seated around 7:30... I took one selfie of the girls and I... You can see Allison's cute new glasses in this photo...
And this is what my plate of "the best darn fish fry in Minnesota" looks like... It is delicous! Typically, I don't eat mayo based products - but Linda makes her own tartar sauce (not pictured), and it's delicious - so that is my one exception. LOL
We came home and we went straight to bed, because by then it was after 9pm.
Today... I have some business paperwork I need to work on this morning... Then I plan on working upstairs most of the day - since I wasn't up there at all yesterday.
I know that V wants to go to Target at some point - so I'll need to make time for that. Unless I can talk Allison into taking her?
That's about it for today.
I hope you all have an amazing Easter weekend - I hope you are able to spend it with special people in your lives.
D~
