i got my email last night!! i was so excited! i, too, thought our pix didn't make it in, since they've gotten the collages up already at dl. so it was such a nice surprise! can't wait to go & check it out! don't want to take the spotlight away from MaryJo, but i can go take some pix too, if interested. when i go in the near future, i'll post, and see. 4 of ours are at steamboat willie. one of them is at nemo at california adventure. it's like that pay-it-forward thread, sorta! isn't this so exciting??!!??

If anyone from Disney marketing is watching these forums...
my dh thinks that Disney should sell poster size versions of the collages. I know we would pay a bundle for posters of the ones our pics are in. We get to go to DL in 10 days, but I'm sure those who can't go this year would buy a poster of "their" collage. I am guessing it will be hard to see our photos. I was glad to see we weren't in Pooh as he looks very high up for a bear. Posters would fix that problem, too! I thought it was a brilliant idea. Now we just have to get Disney on board.

Anyone who's been recently been able to locate and/or actually see your photos? I'm hoping it won't be a wild goose chase.

Three of ours are in the Steamboat Willie and one in Nemo at the CA. Where is the Disney Collection that the Steamboat Willie is located near?? Mary Jo, thanks a million for offering to take the photos. I would just like to see a photo of the Steamboat Willie, if it can be done. We don't visit until Feb., so this will be a nice surprise to see these pics before the visit to the park.

Blackunicorn, I'm with you...no emails and nothing on the computer at Disneyland either, as of last Tues.
I am so disappointed, I sent in 10 under my name and Dh's. My friend sent in 4 and has hers in 16 different places.

We could never find the ones that were in Steamboat, those pictures are too small. We did find one in Donald in toontown.
I don't understand why they couldn't have just tried to use at least one that everyone sent in.

3 Steamboat ( 3 w/Pluto in Toontown)
1 Haunted Mansion (Lunch at Blue Bayou)
1 Pocahantas (Front of Train Station)

Wish I could order a poster of these...hint...hint!

Me too I sent in a great photo and have never heard a thing.........guess my kids and grandson were not special enough to include....makes me sad, it was a wonderful picture of them sitting in front of the Walt & Mickey statue..........

Did you send your picture via email or snail mail? My friend sent in 2 beautiful pictures that were way better than mine through snail mail and she hasn't heard anything yet either. Maybe someone could look up your name while at DL?

All of mine were submitted by downloading them directly at the website. I got confirmation e-mails that they got my pictures. (I'm secretly hoping that they're just being slow to let me know they used my pictures, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up, since it seems like they would have let me know by now.)

we dropped ours off at the drop off box at dl. heard that they needed lots of pix, so maybe they're just slow in responding/sending emails to everyone! keep waiting!! something might come, just when you least expect it!

No email for me yet either. I only submitted ONE photo from 1968 and I thought for sure I would hear via email by now. I got the confirmation email and the one saying that they would send out notices soon. Still no word. Oh well, I'll go in July and check out the kiosk anyhow.

Yes, I sent my photo via snailmail..........still no word.........makes me sad...I was so hoping my family would live in fame forever...

We are actually going to try and make it to the west coast in Oct. and visit DL, so I may be able to check for myself!! I'm figuring we just got left out...

We submitted pictures but never heard anything back either. However, last night a cousin of mine looked up our names at DL and found our pictures! So if you haven't heard anything, don't lose hope yet! I also definitely think they should sell poster size versions of the collages.

That sounds encouraging!! Perhaps I will find some kind soul on here that might be out there before I do to check around for the names..........that is wonderful you "were found"....at DL no less...
