It was the best part of the ride... and they removed it? On purpose!

The ride just stays stuck forward the whole time. I asked a few of the CMs and they said that it wasn't broken, it's intentional and has been that way for some time now. Anyone know why? :confused3

Wow. This is the first I've heard of that. It was normal two months ago.

She said it's been that way for about 3 weeks. The people at Guest Services (or should I say "Guest No-Services") hadn't a clue about it either.

Even my 6 year old called it lame. :rotfl:

Did you tell them you liked it better before? Hopefully enough people will comment and they will change it back.

Have they purposely made it this way or was it broke? Anyone know?

Can imagine it being a bit lame without the spinning...

There used to be an option of choosing a non spinning vehicle and many people preferred it that way. Perhaps they had been receiving a lot of complaints about the spinning and wanted to give it a try and see what happened if they took out the spinning completely.

Yes of course! And they said it was made that way on purpose, and even checked with a Ride and Show supervisor that the claims the CM made were true.

I mean the Guest Services people, I didn't talk with the Super directly.

And I was just over there yesterday...crap! But I wouldn't have enjoyed it if the spinning was turned off. :rolleyes1

It will be interesting to see if it is more popular this way.

Well the amount of spinning does get a bit much in there. If they had about half the spinning it would be perfect. But I agree no spinning probably makes it boring.

we loved that ride spinning and all. We would get off and then get right back on. My 16 yr old (17 now) loved it. It will be so boring now without the spinning.

We were there on Thursday and the CM told us as we got in the car that the spinning had been turned off. She was telling everyone as they got on. Since it was our first time there, we figured it was a change for the day, but it sounds like it has been off for awhile. My DS and I spent the whole ride trying to guess when it was supposed to spin. :)

Hmmm, I cant really imagine its going to much of a ride with no spinning ???:confused3
It seems like it will be awfully boring now. Hopefully its just a temporary thing. That ride always gets us cracking up, mostly because of the spinning........are we weird ???:rotfl2:
Syndrome

We were there last Tuesday and the CM told everyone then too that the spin function was off. We've never been before so we had no idea what she meant. My DH gets severe motion sickness so he was relieved to hear that whatever might spin would not be spinning...

Wow, how disappointing. That was one of the things that made the ride so cool.

When we were there over the summer, I asked to have it no spinning and they said they couldn't do it? Weird as when we had ridden it before they had turned off the spin on our car only. I will like it better now that there is no spin, but they should go back to the option of spin or no spin.
