I had a grandparent that always said when it comes to famous people that deaths happen in 3's. Anyone heard this?

I don't know if it supposed to happen to famous people only, but I've heard this too When I worked my first job as an RN in a nursing home. I worked graveyard shift for 3 yrs. I did have residents die on my shift, not that many tho. But it seemed it went in 3's when people were dying at the nursing home.

I can't remember what yr, 2002 or 2003, all these famous celebs were dying like flies, this was the whole yr. Maybe the yr. John Ritter died- it seemed every other day someone famous ie musician, actor, etc was dying.

I think he played Candace Bergens Dad on Murphy Brown ??

oh no. He was just so funny. RIP guys.
FRAGILE it must be Italian.

It only seems to happen in 3's because people stop counting at 3 and the next death they start the count to 3 over.

On who's next? :confused3 Lets see, who is really OLD and out of the Spotlight now....... :coffee:

Last time there was a post on this subject, I took a guess at who was next. I was right. I'm afraid to offer an opinion this time around.

Holy crap Dan...chocolate pudding just flew out my nose.
Who got the lifetime achievement award this year? They always die right after getting it.

So sad. Both were such talented, funny people.

My guess is that Gerald Ford will be heading "home" soon. *sigh*

This was on my Homepage under the other two gentleman's notices ......

Rickie Layne, a ventriloquist who frequently appeared on "The Ed Sullivan Show" with his Yiddish-accented dummy Velvel, has died at the age of 81.

but wasn't Darren McGavin the lead actor on the original "night stalker' series?...I said right after I heard it...ok..who's next..it DOES always seem to come in 3's...and so many of Hollywood's legends are getting up there in years..it could be any one of them next!..:(

Hopefully this isn't "old news" but just heard that Curt Gowdy has passed too.
