When I first started reading these boards, I thought. Wow these folks are really Disney obsessed. I'm not Disney obsessed, really, am I?
Have you ever experienced the phenomenon that occurs right after you buy a new car? Suddenly you see cars that are the same as yours, particularly if they are also the same color. You know you've done this. Ladies, ever notice another woman wearing the same blouse or shoes that you just purchased? Right! That is exactly what has happened to me. I sat there congratulating myself on not being a complete Disney nerd...

when, suddenly, I noticed the anniversary Disney glass that I am drinking out of as I type. How long have I had that? Yep years!

My cell phone rings, I flip it open like always... and there it is: my Pirates of the Carribean wallpaper. Suddenly I realize that I have the Mickey Mouse march ringtone and a Minnie Mouse wallpaper too.

I am folding laundry and suddenly notice all of the Cinderella, Buzz Lightyear, and Pooh items my children wear.

Now granted, my house is not decorated in Disneyana, but yep it's just soooo true. I am a real Disney geek. Wooo Hooo Hooo Hoooo!

I don't care! Giant media conglomerate or not, I still love that M-O-U-S-E!

i have it even worse....i am the ONLY disney nut in my family. my DS goes because i want to. he is such a good boy. my older sister went because i talked and raved about WDW sooo much she thought it must be THE place to go. she went for 3 days and "did it all!" ha ha.

i come here for the disney support group i have found in these people. they understand my obsession and don't think i am crazy for it.

i never realized i am disney freak-- only because i dont wear MM/disney tees-dont have anything MM or disney in my home, i dont really but disney "items"......

but i JUST LOVE disneyworld! i am obsessed with going to the "kingdom" i love reading about it....i love the boards! whenever someone talks about disney- i get so excited- like it is MY trip they are talking about-

someone was just telling me today about one their family member's trip to disney and their ride on expedition everest-- I knew more about the ride than the person telling the story- because i am such a dork i went onto a site where you can "ride" the actual ride online. she was talking about how the tracks come to a stop and you go backwards- all i thought was "duh" doesnt everyone already know that!!?? BUT NO! THEY DONT! I CANT BELIEVE IT! WHY DONT THEY??!

I LOVE BEING A DISNEY FREAK!

There was a whole line of posts called "You know your a disney addict when..." or something like that... anywho, My DH and I read through the whole thing and laughed so hard it hurt through the whole thing. "We" are everywhere!! and the scary part is that we fit right in with the rest of society! and I must confess. .. I too have "ridden" Expedition Everest already several times... we don't get there until August tho

My hubby is a major fanatic and he got me hooked. Now we are working on our children. I think we are doing a great job because when my 5 year olds kindergarden teacher asked her where she lived she said "Disney World", when the teacher told her she didn't live there she said, "Oh, I mean Cinderella's Castle". - lol-not too spoiled.....

I've had the mailman ask me if we're opening a Disney store at our house from all the Disneydirect boxes he delivers every week. Wife checks them first thing at work and I think she has Disneydirect as her desktop and screensaver.

House is decorated in Disney but I like it too.

Oh yes, you can count me in too! Luckily, I have a great support group. My eldest cousin, my aunt, and I are probably considered the Disney freaks in our family. We email each other at least once a day about something Disney. Not to mention all of the Disney memorabelia that I have. Coffee mugs are my addiction. My mom actually collected all of the movie mugs from the Disney Store which got me addicted. Then the t-shirts, (which I'm wearing the polo shirt that I got from DTD last year), the jewelry, (to go with my shirt, I'm wearing my mickey earrings), the beach towels, the artwork...the list could go on forever!

Where can I find the posts with, "You know you're obsessed when..."?? I could probably related to all or most of those!

Mail am came yesterday, with another big box from Disneydirect and now my laptop has a mickey case to sleep in plus Mickey and Pluto are looking at me from in front of the TV, yard figures but are house pets now. I'm anxiously waiting for my Pirates of the Caribbean lamp to finish off my bathroom. I redone the whole bathroom in a pirate ship interior adorn with Disney figures. Boy, bad ain't worth for what we got!

When I start talking about Disney sometimes, people look at me like I am crazy. It does not bother me at all. As a matter of fact sometimes at work I will play my Disney music CD. When people hear my Disney music they will say "He is going to his Happy Place again!!"
