They Said WHAT on the Disney Channel????

DD12 was watching the Disney Channel (The Princess Diaries) while she and I were busy doing something else (all right, if you must know, she had the tweezers and was trying to find a little hair that I can feel but can't see on my chin - someday you'll be old, too!) Suddenly I heard, "So, do you want to (extremely crude word beginning with the letter between e and g) now?" I came up into a sitting position VERY FAST and said, "Did you just hear that?" Luckily, DD was so engrossed with her dermatology practice that she totally zoned it out. Apparently, I had laid down on the remote control and changed the channel to Showtime!!!!


My gosh, for a minute there I was completely traumatized!!!!! I know the Disney Channel has some preteen content now, but wowza!!!!!!!! Glad to see it is still mostly G rated!!!

I forgot I posted this!!!!!!

Yes, as someone pointed out, The Princess Diaries has not turned blue - the channel was accidently changed to Showtime, but I'm sorry to say I don't remember the name of the movie. Whatever was on Showtime about an hour or two ago!!!!!

And it was the regular "F" word that we all had our mouths washed out with soap for saying. I was just stunned that I heard it - before I realized the channel had changed and I wasn't still listening to Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.

Hi, alliecats!!! I got a tag this week - pretty cool, huh? Someone was complaining about her husband buying the Mega roll instead of the regular roll, and I sprang to its defense. I love the Mega roll and have enough to last the whole winter in the cabinet in my guest bathroom.

And for those of you ladies of a certain age, I highly recommend a 12 year old and a good pair of tweezers. After putting up with a certain amount of "Mom, you have a hair on your neck that's about a mile long - can't you SEE it?" I gave in and let her go for it. And I'll have to say, she might have a future in the skincare field. She goes over my face like a lunar probe on the moon!!!! (And aside from the occasional hair, I really have a very nice complexion, thank you very much.)
