Back at the Pixie Meet & Yachtsman

That is awesome the photopass photographer caught your selfie moments.

Your meals at the Yachtsman looked fantastic, but I'm sorry that your mac and cheese was too truffly!

You have made some nice purchases so far.

A little confession- I haven't eaten at the Yachtsman and I haven't ever been in the Fittings & Fairings Gift Shop at the YC.

Tink was so cute! I loved her, she was definitely one of my favorites of the trip, seeing as though I met three of them.

Oh the truffly mac.

That was actually the first time I'd been in the shop. I've eaten at Yachtsman once before, but that was the first time we kind of wandered around the resort.

Rope drop in the dark, that is seriously freaking cool. And to think you survived a night with birds straight from a Hitchcock and a run in with an old fart who clearly did not understand the coolness of papadon to be there.

Can't believe they weren't selling all the 24 hour merch @ the park. Did I miss the memo that DTD was open 24 hours too? Glad you got the pin though.

How awesome to get to ride mine train the first day. While I have to say I'm not in the same camp as you on the ride, I do agree it is 100% what disney should be - albeit about ten years too late for the technology.

Can't wait to see what else your 24 hour adventure has to bring.

It was so cool to be there at that time of day. And you're right to have survived that stinking bird! That old fart was just too much. I'm gonna say he was just jealous of Pop's coolness.

Right? Like, how do you not have the 24 hour pin at the 24 hour party? How does that even work that way? I was glad that I got the pin too though.

It was so great! What a perfect way to start the day. I was super excited about it. I don't think it's too late for the technology. Those are the most fluid animatronics I've ever seen before.

My Dad technical should carry around his diabetes testing items, even though sometimes he doesn't, so it does irritate me when people make ignorant statements like that. But ignorant people make ignorant comments.

No worries at all! I thought it was awesome that we were rocking the 24 hour parties on the opposite coasts! Even though you were a solid three hours behind me and you were still kicking it hard and I was kicking it back to my bed at that point.

Apologies to all of my readers. I hadn't anticipated not being able to update my TR for two weeks, but I had a busy few weeks.

I ran a quarter marathon (6.55 miles) last weekend to try to get a better qualifying time for the Princess Half Marathon in February. I managed to finish it in 1 hour and 28 minutes. My average pace per mile was 13:26. My SIL Jeni ran with me and finished in 1 hour and 17 minutes. She didn't need to qualify though, we just ran together. So, it's been a busy few weeks and with work thrown in, the last two weeks kind of went by faster than I thought they would.

Day 9 - 24 Hour Day continued!

We had just been fortunate enough to be able to ride the Seven Dwarves Mine Train with a 20 minute wait. I had been hoping and hoping for a soft opening during our trip and I was super happy that it had all worked out.

After that, all of us were at a loss in regards to what to do next. It was surreal. We walked out of the Mine Train, all looked at each other and said "what do we do now?"



Well, since we were in Fantasyland and the park really wasn't that crowded, we decided to head off to Neverland.

And of course I had to get pictures of Katt's and Jenna's DISbounds.



Since they were Tink and Wendy, us riding Peter Pan was appropriate I suppose.

And we all had to get a picture together. Too bad I wasn't wearing my evening costume already. *hint hint*



I won't subject you to the disaster that are the pictures that I ended up taking on Peter Pan.

After we were exiting the ride, I saw a friend from Instagram. If anyone visits Disney, he's an awesome security guard that tends to work the Magic Kingdom named Brett. He loves making Disney friends on IG and loves having meet and greets, so seeing him out of costume was awesome. Technically, CM's were allowed to go to the 24 hour day, so my guess is that he burned a ticket to go.

This is a whole group of Disney IGers basically.



It was fun to meet him and it was even cooler that we just ran into each other.

After that, we headed off for the wildest ride in the wilderness.



We clearly have issues, as you are all aware.





I love taking selfies on rides like Thunder Mountain. Because if I didn't, I would never end up with gems like this.





After we survived our ride in the Wilderness, it was time for my parents to head off to their breakfast reservation and for Katt, Jenna, and I to head to ours. Before this trip began, Katt had originally planned on three people coming on the trip. A little while before, their third cancelled. Well, they had already paid for breakfast at CRT, so she messaged me and asked me if I wanted to join them for breakfast. Of course I'm never going to say no to that. I love me some breakfast food, and I hadn't eaten at CRT in about three years. I had suggested to Mom and Dad that they should eat elsewhere while we were dining in the castle. So we booked them a breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe, since it was a short monorail ride away.

We parted ways and while we were walking back through Frontierland, Katt was paranoid about the birds and seagulls that hover in the general area. She's pretty scared of them. And me being a lovely friend that I am, had to make fun of her for it.



Basically, I had to prevent her from bolting through all of Frontierland. Thankfully, we made it safe and sound. We headed through Fantasyland first, because Jenna needed to get pixie dusted.



We figured at that point it was time for another ride, so we headed over to Adventureland. We were hoping that Peter Pan was going to be out for a meet and greet, but he wasn't there yet. So we figured we would hop on some Magic Carpets.





Spoiler alert, I totally got spit on by a camel.

Jerk.



You'll see it in a few pictures shortly. I mean, it was a hot morning so I suppose I could say it was refreshing.

Ultimately it just ended up looking like I have absolutely no control over my drool.



After I was spit on, we decided to head up Main Street to meet Tinkerbell. Seeing as though Katt and Jenna were appropriately dressed, we figured it would be the best time.

There was virtually no wait and we were in there in no time.



Tink loved giving Katt a hard time about the fact that she was dressed as Wendy, and she should have dressed up like her.





Oh look, apparently I'm capable of drooling on my back.

After leaving Tink, we stumbled upon this lovely lady, with absolutely no wait at all. I'm not exaggerating, no one was coming to see her. I look so proper, right?





It was almost time for our breakfast reservation, but we wanted to catch the Fairy Godmother first. So we headed towards the castle to line up to meet her before going to breakfast.



It was so bright outside!!



This Fairy Godmother knew Katt, so at this point she broke the news to her that she would be starting her International program in October. She was so happy for her! And so absolutely sweet and adorable. Keep your eyes open for this Fairy Godmother, she is a keeper.







This was basically when Katt told her that she had been accepted to the program.





See how happy she is?! Man, I just love her! She also told us that when we saw Jasmine, to make sure to tell her "tag, you're it!"







So we were pretty bad. We were about 15 minutes late to our reservation. We just really wanted to meet Fairy Godmother! #nojudging

They let us right in though, and we were very quickly brought to Cinderella to meet her. She was nothing spectacular. Somewhat underwhelming.



They also seated us right away, so I suppose the being late thing worked out in our favor.

Our server was really nice. When we were seated, we asked her about Jenna's vegetarian options. She basically said you could do just eggs and potatoes, and then add anything else, like the french toast. She said sold, and so did I! I wanted the french toast with eggs and potatoes too! She specifically said "you can get anything you want in the castle!"

I don't quite believe that, but we'll go with it.

Jenna showed off her catering/wedding planner capabilities that she had learned in school by folding some lovely napkin arrangements while we waited.



And then got her wand and was SUPER excited about it.



Our lovely pastries arrived. Man, I'm a huge fan of pastries.



Snow White came by at that point. She was cute, not extremely memorable.



Aurora came by next.



She asked us if she thought we should do a pose together. So original, aren't we?



Ariel was my favorite. She recognized all of our DISbounds right away, and told me that she especially enjoyed mine. She reminded me to make sure to go and see her when she's back in her tail.



It was at this point that the title of our TR was born. See, our breakfast had arrived. This is was Jenna and I had.



It arrives and we all begin eating our meals. Jenna was picking at her potatoes and not eating them. So I asked her if there was anything wrong with them.

She said that she thought for sure she was going to get hash browns, but instead, they just gave us fancy potatoes.

And in a very sad voice said "apparently they don't eat hash browns in Princessland".

At that very moment, I told her that the title of my TR had finally arrived and that I would be using it. So now she's DIS famous for creating my TR title. I take my TR titles very seriously y'all!

While we were enjoying our breakfast, the most absolutely stunning Jasmine I've ever seen in my life stopped by our table.

For real.



She was a lot of fun! She kept commenting on our DISbounds as well and told us that we all looked absolutely fabulous. We told her that Fairy Godmother had a message for her. She said "oh really, what is that?" We said "tag, you're it!" She just laughed hysterically and said that she was going to have to get her back for that.

Katt had ordered the healthy breakfast, taken a bite of muffin, and proceeded to spat it right back out onto her plate. Apparently it tasted terrible. I tried to catch a picture of her horrified face, because believe me. She was horrified. I just ended up getting her laughing instead.



I think right now she's just saying "really?!"



All in all, we had a really great breakfast together. It's more about the atmosphere than anything else, and in this case it was about the friends that were there.

While we were having breakfast, the P's had texted that they had finished their breakfast and were back in the park. What did they do, get there, stuff the food into their mouths, not chew, and then fly back? That was record time!

We left the castle and I hugged Katt and Jenna goodbye so that I could go meet up with my parents. We all had different FP's planned for the day, so at this point, we had to part ways.

With the general craziness of the rest of the trip, Katt and I didn't get a chance to meet up again before our trip came to an end. But the time we spent together was great, so thanks Katt for sharing some of your vacation with us.

Look, I don't care what else is on the tray, if there's creme brûlée and I get to call it breakfast, I'm ORDERING IT. I *think* I can tell their Disbounds as well. Tink is pretty obvious...is Katt being Wendy? If so, I think the star necklace is a great touch.

I think I might disbound on my trip, too, even though it won't be during the 24 hour party. For me, it would just be for hilarious runtimes.

EDIT: Goodness! I only saw the second part of the update yesterday! Today I saw all the comments about the BTMRR selfies and I was like "wait, what? I didn't see any selfies!" And went back. DERPA DERPA DOOOOOOOOO. So yes, Tinkerbell and Wendy. Huzzah! And yes, the selfies are HILARIMUS.
