Ohhhh I'm so glad you liked the Mine Train! I'm so excited to check it out. I hope I can nab a fast pass, although it would honestly be more ideal to only have a 20 minute wait so Squeaks can play with the jewels too. You had some awesome luck on this vacation!

I really enjoyed it. I don't know how the waits have been early in the morning, but I think if you would get there for morning magic hours, you could get through with a shorter wait. People as a whole do not get up early.

Love your outfits! Definitely did a great job!

It was! I was glad that we were among the first guests let on. They hadn't done a ton of guest testing up to that point, only CM's.

Your mom's Snow White outfit is awesome!! She looks so cute! And pretty well timed since you got to go on 7DMT for opening day!

Oh the line stress. I imagine growling animals sometimes, very territorial. It really cracks me up when people get mad about line cutting while getting to board an airplane. We will get there at the same time people!

Isn't it fun to ride a new Disney ride?! Pretty rare! I hope you got to do 7DMT at night at some point. I think that was the best time.

Her outfit did turn out really great! And you're right, the timing did end up ideal, even through we didn't plan it that way.

Yup same for me regarding the first 24 day (the Leap Day one), but in Disneyland. Trip was already booked and my arrival was on that very day.

I will add, in general, that Disney really seems to drop the ball when it comes to merch for special events. I understand that they don't want tons of merch left over that they really can't sell, but still... And the pins at DtD???? Management needs an overhaul, lol. I volunteer!

Oh, oh, I volunteer too! Together, we would make it amaHzing! I got the "logic" behind selling them at DTD, but it still really didn't make sense.

This is now the first TR where I didn't skip the actual Mine Train section since it's now not a spoiler for me!!

I know, totally early meet up. She was so absolutely sweet getting it for me. Missy actually did the same thing, which I will mention later on in the 24 hour day update. It's awesome to have great Disney friends.

I couldn't agree with you more on the Mine Train. People were complaining that it wasn't long enough and Shan and I looked at each other and said but it was perfect! It does scream Disney and that's what we love as well!

It was a bit underwhelming. I wasn't expecting like tons of stuff, but it was just meh. Like, a little more than just a t-shirt would work.

She was so sweet! I love that shirt too, she had that made for the Princess Half Marathon.

I still want to know what the (un)official rule is for these new interactive lines as far as when you have to wait and when you can go around people. I think there needs to be like a 5% rule that you can't delay people more than 5% of what their wait time should be. So stop for 20 seconds to get a picture? Great. Take 30 seconds to finish up playing your game, ok .... take 10 minutes to get every combination of picture in the world? Not cool - or at least not if you don't want people to go by. If you are ok with that then snap away!

I agree completely. If you're standing still, feel free to play away. But if you want to stop, expect that people are going to walk by you that don't want to stop.

I agree with you assessment of the Mine Train ride ... I love it's location - to be kinda zipping around right in the middle of Fantasyland is just magical. And they obviously did a great job with it and tons of little details. I definitely was not expecting a thrill ride and don't think it needs to be "bigger" - I do wish it was a tad longer though ... just like one more dark scene and another, different curve or something.

I agree on the length of it. I wish it was longer. But other than that, I think it's really great.

I agree with you I can't stand Haters either. No matter where you go nothing is ever perfect.... So deal with it and have a good time.

I'm sort of indifferent in terms of the Mine Train, but the one thing I will say is that they totally should have done better with seat designs. Like, I'm not that big of a person and the seating wasn't comfortable for me. So I can't imagine how bigger people deal.

Also if it makes you feel any "better" a lady actually got confrontational with me at Epcot cause I was purposely making sure I wasn't cutting her next time I'll just give her Jenna's face lol.

I really wanted to make sure I had enough time. More than anything I wanted to be able to see the park open and then get pictures of the castle at sunrise.

As a whole, I try really hard never to judge something until I can see it for myself. Like FP+ and MB's for instance. There was so much negativity swirling around about it before I even got the chance to try it out. I'm glad I didn't listen, because I love it.

How awesome to get to ride mine train the first day. While I have to say I'm not in the same camp as you on the ride, I do agree it is 100% what disney should be - albeit about ten years too late for the technology.

Can't wait to see what else your 24 hour adventure has to bring.
