I finally learned that there was such a thing as Disney bounding from Courtney's trip report, but I really have no idea who they are supposed to be when people are doing it.

That might have been a wonderful surprise to find out that you would be at WDW for the 24 hour day. I was excited that they had extended the Frozen Summer Fun into September, because that meant we could see it, but to have a whole 24 hour party appear is really cool.

I love the way Cinderella's Castle looks at sunrise.

So strange to me to see the queue for the Mine Train. I've been on it 4 times, but each time was FP+ line, so I just realized that I actually had no idea what the queue area was like. Looks neat.

So what were our thoughts on the ride? I loved the attraction. And here's why. No, it's not a thrill ride. Yes, I understand that it took them forever to build it. And I understand that it could be a little bit longer.

But this. This was pure Disney to me. Everything about that attraction screamed Disney. I don't need pizzaz. I don't need speed. I want Disney. And that attraction to me has it in spades.

I totally agree!! It already feels like a classic Disney ride.

Oh the line stress. I imagine growling animals sometimes, very territorial. It really cracks me up when people get mad about line cutting while getting to board an airplane. We will get there at the same time people!

Yup same for me regarding the first 24 day (the Leap Day one), but in Disneyland. Trip was already booked and my arrival was on that very day.

Ugh. I do not understand (and I guess it's good that I don't) people who make stupid and rude comments. Seriously why??? To make yourself feel better by attempting to bring someone else down???

I will add, in general, that Disney really seems to drop the ball when it comes to merch for special events. I understand that they don't want tons of merch left over that they really can't sell, but still... And the pins at DtD???? Management needs an overhaul, lol. I volunteer!

I still want to know what the (un)official rule is for these new interactive lines as far as when you have to wait and when you can go around people. I think there needs to be like a 5% rule that you can't delay people more than 5% of what their wait time should be. So stop for 20 seconds to get a picture? Great. Take 30 seconds to finish up playing your game, ok .... take 10 minutes to get every combination of picture in the world? Not cool - or at least not if you don't want people to go by. If you are ok with that then snap away!

I agree with you assessment of the Mine Train ride ... I love it's location - to be kinda zipping around right in the middle of Fantasyland is just magical. And they obviously did a great job with it and tons of little details. I definitely was not expecting a thrill ride and don't think it needs to be "bigger" - I do wish it was a tad longer though ... just like one more dark scene and another, different curve or something.

I'm sort of indifferent in terms of the Mine Train, but the one thing I will say is that they totally should have done better with seat designs. Like, I'm not that big of a person and the seating wasn't comfortable for me. So I can't imagine how bigger people deal.

Thanks! It took us a while to figure out what we were going to Disbound as, but the outfits turned out pretty good.

Yup, we were! I don't understand the haters either. I belong to this Disney Junkies page on FB, and they're negative like 80% of the time. I just don't get it. I'm not always happy with Disney, but as a whole I am.

I was so excited that it opened up! I had been hoping beyond hope that it would. The timing was great.

Believe me, I was dying laughing when that whole thing happened in line with Jenna. It was pretty hysterical.

It can be complicated at first to figure out who is who when people Disney bound. I pay attention to colors more than anything else. Mom is Snow White and I was Ariel.

It was awesome to find out the 24 hour party was coinciding with our trip! I normally don't have such good fortune to be there when random events are going on.

It really was awesome to be there so early! It was a lot easier to be up early than to stay up later. Signs that I'm becoming an old fart.

I actually haven't been through the FP+ line yet. I'm hoping to get there early in the morning to be able to ride through the queue with my friend so she can check it out. Or do it during EMH.
