They Don't Eat Hash Browns in Princessland - May 14 COMPLETE! 2/8 pg. 73

Finally caught up on the Mega updates.

Love the meet and greet with Gaston. Lunch IS yummy at BOG I always order the roast beef sandwich and it always a good choice.

Even that cinnamon roll looks good. I loved the ones at the Main Street Bakery and am so sad they are gone.

I think I may have missed an update, but I read the most recent.

Yay for lunch at BOG. I can't really remember what I had for lunch, but I did enjoy it. What's not to like about being waited on for a QS meal? I mean, I know you have to stand in line to order and all, but once you are done with that you get to totally sit until the food arrives. :cool1:

That is the first time I have ever seen those cute little cupcakes in a cup. That food item is immediately going on my bucket list, especially since it has the perfect frosting to cupcake ratio that you describe. You see - I am really all about the frosting. The cake is merely an after thought.

Going back to check what else I missed.

Okay, so I follow you on Instagram and I see you comment on people's reports all the time and somehow I never managed to read one of your trip reports. Hmm... not sure how that happened!

I only just started but I love it so far!!! I like to think I'm a super hero too. :thumbsup2 And a princess. princess: And YAY for Star Wars!

Love that you are so close to your family!!!! I am too... unfortch, they're not actually close to me as far as where we all live. But still. It makes life so happy to be so close!

Love your doggie. So cute!!

:welcome:

Well, I'm very glad to have you here now. :thumbsup2 I've always got a report running, which is either awesome or sad depending on how you look at it.

Yes! A princess and a superhero!

We're all fortunate that my family is still in the same area, so it's easy for us to maintain our close relationship.

My pupper is very cute. And she knows it. :lmao:

The roast beef sandwich huh? I'm going to have to remember that for the next time we go. I want to try something different each time.

This one is an excellent replacement for the cinnamon rolls at Main Street. I actually like this one better.

No worries, I've totally missed updates before!

I like being waited on at all times, so adding it to a CS location is just icing on the cake. They should do more like that, but I get why they wouldn't.

The ratio is perfect! Like, there are moments when I think that the cake doesn't need to even be in there, but then reason takes over and I'm okay with it. The cake cup is perfect for that! You'll love it.

Our first Dismeet was so very brief, but so very wonderful at the same time! I was so happy to get to meet all of you, and I'm even happier we hung out more later in our trips!

P.S. No shame in your cinnamon roll for breakfast. I had a cup of Butterbeer ice cream for breakfast last month at Diagon Alley, sugar overload to start the day!

I liked your Mine Train spoiler alert. I kinda wish I could go back in time and give myself a spoiler alert: It's not going to soft open, EVER. Poof, do something else with your precious hours of vacation time. :lmao:

I'm a HUGE Philharmagic fan too! I just wish they kept the theater as cold as they used to. It takes most of the movie before you've really cooled off now.

The cake cups are amazing! As someone who discards the bottom of a cupcake most of the time, a frosting-based dessert is perfect. I just wish they kept the birthday cake one in rotation more of the time. That's been my favorite one so far and I've yet to find it again.

Oh and those Gaston selfies are priceless! He's my favorite friend of Gaston, totally makes it one of the best M&Gs in the park!

Day 4: Rest Day & The Ditch

We are one of those "No Sleep in Disney" families. I totally get it when people take a down day relaxing at the resort, but it just doesn't happen with us! It is a miracle when I can even get my family to the pool.. But I love that you had a nice quiet morning hanging out at the pool with your mom.

Lunch from BW bakery looked great! Drooling here over your salted caramel chocolate ganache dessert- possibly the 4 greatest words together in the English language!

I agree, your picture of the Imagination pyramids is AWESOME!

Also love the F&G magic shots with the butterflies.

Nice time at The Ditch. Don't know if anyone has made this comment since I am just reading the links, but after some of the things I have seen parents do in Disney, I am not surprised about the unsupervised kids there. In the parents defense- the place is called "The Ditch" and that is exactly what they did!

Yum- all of those Margaritas sound yummy!

LOL on your beer drinking contest and at your glitter-filled "ending"

:rotfl2:

YAY for lunch at BOG :) Even though I would normally GASP at the thought of not getting the Master's cupcake, the dessert you went with is pretty acceptable :rotfl: they look yummy!

Lunch at BOG looks absolutely yummy. And I'm dying for one of those cake cups now... They both look delish! Where is the Cheshire Cafe? I've not heard of that one before. Then again, It's been four YEARS since I've been to Disney...

Love the PP pic! Too cute!

Mmm that braised pork is delicious.

I wouldn't say pathetic :p

Yeah looks like too much frosting in the cake cup for me.

And of course your Pop always gets kissed.

So I just finished reading your trip report and I've decided that we need to be best friends. :rotfl:
You are hilarious and your family is awesome! Who can I talk to about getting you guys your own reality show? :rotfl2:

That's so awesome you got to meet Missy!! I love her TRs and she is a wealth of Disney information.

You are a celebrity!!! So cool that someone recognized you.

Aw man, hate those not-so-magical moments. I'm glad you guys made up quickly, though!

Please. Gaston isn't a prince. He is a god among men.

HA I love the Gaston selfie.

I NEED that braised pork but I love the croque monsieur (even though it's not a legit croque monsieur, it's still delicious). Life is full of tough choices.

I'm so disappointed I never got to try a cake cup. I love frosting so it seems right up my alley.

Finally made it to the end! Woohoo ;) anyways I love your trip reports, you make me look like a crazy while reading them though, because I often laugh then my husband just rolls his eyes knowing that I'm on the dis boards... Lol. Anyways your pictures on the tea cups had me rolling.. So good. The gaston selfies though, those took the cake! Hilarious. Keep up the good work :) you make me super excited for our upcoming trip!! Hubby isn't nearly as excited as I am, but he's a Disney virgin so he has no clue what he's about to get himself into! I think we will be there around the same time so if I see you I'll definitely say hello!

ooooo BOG lunch looks so goooood. The braised pork looks so delish! I actually got it (I just started a new TR if you're interested!) but because I can't do the gluten it had no sauce on it:headache:.

It totally looks like Adam doesnt have pants on  I always double take when I see people wearing tight khaki pants. Like, you know that just looks like your legs right? No skin tone clothing people!!

Such a great read! Thank you so much for putting this together and posting it. Takes this Kentucky boy right back to Disney! =)

I know! I was so happy we were able to meet, and it was crazy how much more we ended up seeing each other during the trip. I'm so glad we got to do it and I really hope we're there together again sometime in the future.

I am so excited to try to butterbeer ice cream, you have no idea. I'm just excited to be going in November. It can't come soon enough.

I liked your Mine Train spoiler alert. I kinda wish I could go back in time and give myself a spoiler alert: It's not going to soft open, EVER. Poof, do something else with your precious hours of vacation time. :lmao:

Ugh, don't I know it. I wish I would have just trusted my instincts that it was definitely going to be open on the 24 hour day, which I truly new in my heart, and gotten back several hours of my vacation.

It's a must do for me, every time. Cannot miss it. But of course, being a huge Donald fan, I don't think it would be acceptable for me to miss it.

Yeah, I just use the sandwich option normally, so that I get a better frosting to cupcake ratio, but the cake cups are perfect! And the birthday cake one is still the best one. I wish they still had it. I haven't found it again either.

Oh and those Gaston selfies are priceless! He's my favorite friend of Gaston, totally makes it one of the best M&Gs in the park!

He's so awesome. I hope to find him again in November.

It is a miracle when I can even get my family to the pool.. But I love that you had a nice quiet morning hanging out at the pool with your mom.

We used to be like that, but I just like to be more relaxed now. We only do a resort day on trips that are 9 or 10 days long. Anything less than that and I don't do it. We had a great morning though.

Lunch from BW bakery looked great! Drooling here over your salted caramel chocolate ganache dessert- possibly the 4 greatest words together in the English language!

The only disappointing thing was the fact that it wasn't just salted caramel chocolate! Like, why did you have to put that passion fruit business at the bottom! It was just weird.

:rotfl2:

That picture turned out so awesome, and I didn't even plan it. LOL. I never really plan out my pictures, I'm bad like that.

Hahahaha, I guess that could be where the name The Ditch came from. :lmao:

It was a crazy day with a crazy ending, I'll tell you that much.

YAY for lunch at BOG :) Even though I would normally GASP at the thought of not getting the Master's cupcake, the dessert you went with is pretty acceptable :rotfl: they look yummy!

I love the Master's Cupcake, but I knew I wanted a cake cup. I try really hard not to have too many treats in one day on vacation. Otherwise, I'd have to keep walking to burn it off. :rotfl:

Lunch at BOG looks absolutely yummy. And I'm dying for one of those cake cups now... They both look delish! Where is the Cheshire Cafe? I've not heard of that one before. Then again, It's been four YEARS since I've been to Disney...

Love the PP pic! Too cute!

You definitely have to try one! The Cheshire Cafe is across from Cosmic Rays. So you know when you take a right at the hub to walk towards Fantasyland towards the teacups? Cosmic Rays is on your right and the Cheshire Cafe is on your left. It's a really tiny walk up. It's where Tomorrowland and Fantasyland collide.

Mmm that braised pork is delicious.

I wouldn't say pathetic :p

Yeah looks like too much frosting in the cake cup for me.

And of course your Pop always gets kissed.

It's absolutely delicious.

Okay, not necessarily pathetic, but maybe a little sad. :rotfl2:

If you're not a huge sweets person, that is definitely way too much frosting for you. For me? Perfect. :lmao:

So I just finished reading your trip report and I've decided that we need to be best friends. :rotfl:
You are hilarious and your family is awesome! Who can I talk to about getting you guys your own reality show? :rotfl2:

:welcome: I'm glad you've joined.

Hey, I'm all for making more friends, come on down!

You don't want to give us our own reality show, because my Pop's head would just inflate even more than it is. This DIS fame is enough for him. :rotfl2:

That's so awesome you got to meet Missy!! I love her TRs and she is a wealth of Disney information.

You are a celebrity!!! So cool that someone recognized you.

She really is so awesome, I adore her and Franklin. We got to spend a lot of time together throughout the trip, and it was great.

Hahaha, my mini-celebrity moment, right? Only in the DIS universe, and even then, not really. :lmao:

Aw man, hate those not-so-magical moments. I'm glad you guys made up quickly, though!

Please. Gaston isn't a prince. He is a god among men.

HA I love the Gaston selfie.

I'm so disappointed I never got to try a cake cup. I love frosting so it seems right up my alley.

He is a god among men. Of course that's according to Gaston, but who are we to argue with him, right?

I haven't had the croque monsieur, but my Mom has. I really really really love real croque monsieur, so I just haven't been able to bite the bullet to get it.

You so should have gotten one! See, now that they're on my radar, I can't not get one.

Finally made it to the end! Woohoo ;) anyways I love your trip reports, you make me look like a crazy while reading them though, because I often laugh then my husband just rolls his eyes knowing that I'm on the dis boards... Woo hoo! That's a huge accomplishment, I must say. It's running a lot of pages already.

I'm glad that I can make you laugh. That's always a good sign, and generally what I aim for whenever I type an update.

Gaston was awesome and priceless. I was so glad his meet and greet was so awesome.

Aha, a Disney virgin! That's actually a good thing sometimes, because they might really be able to see the magic. If you are there when I am and see me, stop me to say hello! I love that.

It's so good, I know! And I'm coming by your TR in a matter of minutes! Oh man, I'm sorry about the gluten in the sauce! I'm not going to lie, I'm so glad I don't have a gluten intolerance, because it really seems like it can be difficult for you guys!

He is totally not wearing any pants. I'm convinced. :lmao:

Such a great read! Thank you so much for putting this together and posting it. Takes this Kentucky boy right back to Disney! =)
