They Call Me MISTER PIG- He Said, She Said (9/1 Lights, Thunder, Fantasmic? Page 47)

I'm enjoying your trip report. I'm glad that Cat had so much fun at Neverland club that she was excited to go back. I'm sure it makes it easier to drop her off have fun together knowing that she is having a great time. Too bad you started missing the baby. DH and I went on a cruise for our 10th anniversary and left the kids with my parents for 2 weeks and I was all ready to go but ds woke up right before we left and was crying so as soon as we got in the car I started crying, not exactly the start to the trip we had planned. Luckily I got over it and had a great time as did all the kids with my parents.

I read your trip report today and it's so cute! I love your he said/she said style and honesty. It's such a fun TR and I'm excited to read the rest of it!

Aww. Thank you! :lovestruc

Tell HE that disboards is more than a trip-planning tool - it's a lifestyle!!! And once you're "in" you're stuck for life! :surfweb: :rotfl:

LOL. I told him and he said he was scared. I do have other TR to read and advice to dool out and well I love the Dis. Everyone is so very nice here. :goodvibes Yeah. I am addicted. They will have to drag me away.

Aww not a fun start to the trip. I am glad it all worked out though. Cat couldn't wait to get away from us and go to Neverland Club... Not sure what that says about us as parents. :confused3 Oh well. She happily reported that they had bubble machines on that night and the whole floor got covered in bubbles. So she was very happy.

I'm almost caught up and I've laughed out loud several times. I have to comment right now though that I love The Cat's dress at Tusker House, which does by the way ROCK!

I have started reading and have read your first four installments! You guys are a hoot!!! I am enjoying it immensely!

Coming back tomorrow to continue reading!

Just letting you know I'm reading right now. :goodvibes

Yea for Reading! :cool1:

Thanks! I spent way too much time picking out her outfits. But Disney is the land of a million picutres and I wanted to make her look cute.

Alright I'm officially caught up, and I'm sorry He was Disney Done!

It was kind of a bummer but the man really did solider through. After that little blow up He planted a smile firmly on his face and did everything He could to make sure I was having a good time. I totally get it though, CBL (Cute Baby Loss) is a powerful thing.

Becca - just wanted to let you know that I am reading along. I can't keep up! You two are so quick!

He Said – This ride totally kicked butt. It was a true coaster. The initial acceleration was incredible, and again my addiction was satiated (SAT word!) The turns were smooth but pulled at least a few G’s. Going upside down is always a perk, and the slight disorientation only made the ride better. I would have happily waitied an additional 30 minutes to ride it. If you’re a coaster junkie, there’s isn’t exactly a ton of stuff at Disney to feed on, but this does a great job.

We ventured back to Tower of Terror, brandishing our +1 to line skipping Fastpasses. Our vacation was made by those things. We had another awesome ride (the randomness of this attraction definitely rocks) and found ourselves exiting the twilight zone quite famished. It was off to the Sci-Fi Dine-in for a backseat view of a 50s style drive-in theater, minus the making out.

She Said – Our ADR wasn’t until 9:30 and it was only a little after 8:00 but we decided to at least try. I saw a wait and figured no way. Actually they said no problem. We (being a party of two) were hitchhikers in the back row of a car. That was fine. The family in front of us was a little sullen but we generally don’t let others ruin our mood.

Our Waitress totld us without prompting that we could get a burger if we wanted (even though it wasn’t on the dinner menu) I wish I had. My steak thing wasn’t good. But it came with green beans and I love veggies. I also had Spinach dip and a sundae so I was happy and all set. The setting for Sci Fi is the whole reason to go IMO. Cat tends to get nightmares easily so I was nervous about the clips frightening her, they aren’t scary at all but I know my kid. She gets frightened about flea commercials and we don’t even have any pets. Anyway it was good to have a fun meal just the two of us.

He Said - I genuinely enjoyed the Sci-Fi Dine-in. The setting was wonderful, and its off-beat nature gave the place true originality. I would put it on my must visit list for a return to Disney. The food was very good, good ole American hamburgers and shakes, but most appealing were the ridiculously funny clips being played on the big screen. I laughed my tail off by that guy getting speared by a giant. The clips repeat after about 30 minutes, but they’re so weird and hilarious that it doesn’t get old. I think I drank root beer, which was my beverage of choice when I wasn’t feeling like orange soda. Alone I probably drank a world record’s worth of root beer. I also have a world record for belching. Or at least I should…

She Said- We weren’t tired but just worn down. So we hopped a bus back to Pop. It was upon our return to our hotel room for what was supposed to be fun adult time that He was instead slammed by the baby blues.

First, awesome TR! I have enjoyed everything. popcorn::

Second, I enjoyed the "+1 to line skipping Fastpasses" D&D Reference. You aren't the only person to think that way... we refer to the Trip binder as something that gives us +5 to all knowledge (schedule) rolls.

I am really glad you enjoyed Sci-Fi, we are going in October, so hearing all the positive reviews really makes me excited to be going!

Becca, just came over from the Dance mom thread to read your TR. Its hysterical! You guys are so funny and its great to see pictures of Cat finally. she's a doll!!!

I'm up to the Minnie has a plumbing problem. That's next for me! Great TR so far!!!

No, no, no! Must never let hubby get "Disney'd out"! Was an emergency intervention needed?

(kind of cute that he was missing the baby, though! Most men are just big piles of mush, aren't they?;) )

I was going to reply but He read it at work and told me to leave it be- he wants to reply. So this is me- not replying! ;)

-Becca-

I will patiently await He's response then! :)
(Ouch... how grammatically incorrect is THAT? )

All Disney'd out.. I can relate. We usually take 6 day trips (Thurs-Tues) and by Monday night we're usually ready to go home. But then again, we know that the next trip isn't too far away.......

Sci Fi is a great setting with good(ish) food. Don't go expecting the bestest food ever and you will really enjoy it. Also on the whole gaming thing- I never gamed at all in my life until I met He. I was with the other crowd in HS. I remember He warning me not to tell any of his friends that I used to be a cheerleader or they would quickly shun me :confused3 Well He quickly hooked me and now I cant stop thinking that way! :goodvibes

I am glad you are enjoying it! And thanks about Cat, I think so too but I am bias ;) Its nice to have other dance mom's to talk to. A lot of other mom's think I am nuts when they find our how many hours Cat spends at dance.

I know! How does one get TOO much Disney? :confused3 I didn't think such a thing was possible!

And yes, He is a BIG pile of Mush. He loves his kids. Its too cute! :lovestruc

He tends to take forever with his replies... I will kick him for you though when he gets home. ;)

See I would be okay with a shorter trip if I knew we would be back soon. As it is I want the next trip to be a few days longer. Of course Baby will be with us then so I am hoping He won't get so homesick.

Welcome! I am glad you are enjoying it! Here is a link to my PTR. Had to do a little digging to find it. Apparently I have way too many Threads that I subscribe to ;) . Anyway here it is http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1682996

Ok I'm all caught up now. :rotfl2: I keep telling dh he needs to read your TR since it has a guys perspective. As of now he just thinks everyone on the DIS is a psycho lunatic. :rotfl: Including me!;)

Totally LOVE Cat's review of the Neverland Club. We are taking our 2 kids age 5 and 7 (will be 8) in October and I've been on the fence about this. I really want some park ride commando time without the kids. I'm glad she enjoyed it and it worked so well for you guys, minus the Disney burnout!

You all are such a cute family! :)

We are heading to Sci-Fi as well so I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think I'll ask for a burger for myself!

I also liked He's review of RNRC. We moved away as that was being built so I never got to ride on it. Its a priority in Oct for us!!! We cant wait. The launch sounds like its similiar to California Screamin' at DCA. Slingshots you at lightening speeds!!!

I also showed your pictures to Morgan (my dd), and I told her that Cat dances too. She wanted to know if she could come over and they could play/dance together! :cutie: I'm like ummm honey, she lives on the other side of the country. She looked so sad and disappointed. :sad1: she absolutelty adores other girls who dance. BTW, I hope Cat is doing better.

Anyway, sorry long rambling post as is my usual. Great TR. Cant wait to read the rest. So sorry its almost over.
