These passes are burning a hole in my pocket~ Pre-Trip Report Update 8/4

Hi ya'll! Before meeting everyone, I'd thought I'd give you the back story to the title. Back in May, DH had to go to Orlando for work, so I decided to tag along. DH had to attend the State Science Fair, which meant that myself and our daughter would be by ourselves for the day. That’s when my parents decided to tag along. We stayed at POP for the short stay. While DH was off for work, we went to Downtown Disney and swam at the pool. DH joined us later that evening and we went to dinner. We went to BJs Brewery. High recommend! The next day, we decided to check out Sea World (I know, I know, it’s not Disney), but we are both teachers and get FREE passes for the year. We enjoyed the park but it was NO Disney Park by any means. We knew we would be making it up for it the following weekend, since we had planned on going up for Memorial Day Weekend before this trip even came about. So we left that weekend knowing we would be returning the next weekend. Now fast forward to Memorial Day Weekend. Well originally, we weren’t planning on going to any of the parks. We were using DVC points and staying at Beach Club. We were just going to hang out at the resort and relax. That plan was quickly scrapped and we bought Florida Resident Seasonal Passes. This now leads to the title of this report. Since, we have the passes we have several trips planned this coming year. Stay turned to find out when for all of them!

Me- I am a Reading Teacher for Kindergarten, First and Second Graders. I love to plan trips, not just Disney, but ALL trips. (My family calls me “Travel Guide”.) I make hair bows and other children’s items. Favorite character: Tinkerbell Favorite ride: Safari Ride Favorite Show: Nemo

DH- He is a Math Teacher. He didn’t go to Disney as a child, but ever since meeting me has now caught the Disney bug. Favorite restaurant: Ohana Favorite Ride: Toy Story Mania (He’s very competitive. He used to Coach High Football.)

Grammy- She loves spending time with her grandbaby. My Dad and her are the DVC owners. She loves just going with the flow. Favorite Park: Epcot Favorite Ride: Soarin

Papa- He is a Harley owner and you will almost always see him wearing a Harley shirt. He loves nature. He is always looking at the trees and plants around the property. He is known to steal Bayleigh’s stroller from us. Haha! He loves to push his grandbaby around.

Bayleigh- She loves Minnie Mouse! She loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! She is the star of the show. She just turned 1 in June.

So that is the cast! Coming up next, our plans for the upcoming trips! Yes, I said trips! Can you guess how many?

Thanks for joining! I've been so busy over the past few weeks that I haven't had time to update. That won't happen again!

You are correct! We have three trips planned!

Our first trip is September 2nd-5th! It's a short one! That's what we get from leaving only 3 hours south of Disney! We'll be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge with savanna view for Bayleigh. This is a first for her staying there so we are very excited. She loves animals! We only have 2 ADRs for this trip Boma on Saturday and Ohana on Sunday.

As of right now our plans are to go to Animal Kingdom on Saturday and Magic Kingdom on Sunday.

I've been home for the summer and will be returning to work next week. Man has the time flown by!

We have a ride through safari down here, so we went for a day. Here are some pictures from it. We also got out at the walk through area and fed a giraffe.

Bayleigh had an accident so we had an outfit change.

Good Morning Everyone! It has been a very hectic past few weeks with me starting back to school. I can't believe that I leave for the World in 3 days and I still haven't packed. Ahhh! I better get on the ball. I have only a few minutes before starting to get ready for work. Does anyone have any particular requests for this Trip Report? Pictures of certain things? Postcards sent to their kids? We will be going to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom this trip, since it is a very short trip for us. Have to go! I'll be back later!
