RF- glad you got to see some pics! I still have to recap the Ziplining day for you guys- which is up next , and seriously, ya'll are all going to die laughing when i tell you the story. But I took beautiful pics and it was a good experience. I think. Well, I might have post traumatic stress from it, but I think I'm handling myself okay.
I'm looking forward to seeing you new house! And you know what? I know that your house is beautiful. You wouldn't have chosen it if it wasn't. My first house was Mr Rogers Yellow --( i mean Bright bright, hurt your eyes yellow, not a beautiful creamy buttery yellow). But I loved it b/c it was mine. And I have so many fond memories of that house.


Lake- I know you're excited to be going to PGH. Wish i was going!

Sulley-- we all are excited for your b-day party plans. It will be a long B-day celebration!!!!!!

Trix........ oh man. Plan your Cali trip now. Now, I say!!! Would it be just you going or would you take the girls and DH?

So... SEC media days was yesterday. Don't know if you read it or not. The big story coming out of there? Not who the fastest running back was. Not who the toughest team was. Not even who had the hardest schedule. The big story?
Tebow is a virgin and is saving himself for marriage.

Whelp-Shelly-- it looks like we are not going to WDW in Nov. We started talking about it last night, and gosh- it would be so expensive to do that, and then turn around 3 weeks later and go to Chas for Christmas. So- it's turkey day in Arky for us.
Take my name off of the Photopass list.

OMG the sun is actually out!! Better look quick. The extended forecast is showing rain for every single day clear through next weekend. I knew the first half of the summer was way too nice and we were going to have to pay for it later!

Just cleaning today. And getting ready for tomorrow's garage sale. I've already made $235 in early sales!! It's all going straight into the Disney fund!

Tonight is DH's company picnic. Hopefully the rain will hold off!

I have a confession....

So, sometimes when I miss Disney (which is a lot) - I watch the vacation planning DVD... I'm a total sap and I get really nostalgic and I miss it really bad when I watch it, but I can't help it!

So, I was watching it the other night while Bob was playing video games and he came upstairs and started watching with me - and he got the same way.

So the next morning on the trolly, when it pulls up to a stop it says 'Please stand clear of the doors' And every single time Bob and I shoot each other a smile and we mouth - "Por favor mantangase alejado de las puertas"

LOL. And we laugh everytime we ride the trolley and hear it. I know, we're cheesy.... it's just what we do

Well, that day after we watched the DVD - we both said it outloud at the same time and Bob looked at me and said 'Plan for next year, I really can't wait to go back'



I had a tentative ticker up for my aunts B-day. But, I wasn't sure if we would be able to swing it, or if Bob would go for it. So, a 2010 trip for us is a definate! Hopefully May for my birthday again... But probably anytime that offers free dining. Either Sept, or November with the rest of my family - if they have free dining at that time next year again

I always lose weight after a surgery too.

Here's my new secret - try buying a house that needs a ton of work in the middle of summer! I can hardly keep my shorts up lately. And DH has lost at least 10 pounds!

That sounds like a lot of work! Hmmm...

Not sure I want to go on that diet or Sea's diet either. Ouch!

Now...don't go getting all excited here folks. I'm sure nothing is going to happen, except in my dream world, but swim nationals are in Irvine next summer. It just got me thinking a wee bit.

Having TWO things to do would make it totally worth it to go all the way out there, right???

Well, THREE really, because I'd have to meet Sea, too!!!

Thanks for all the early birthday wishes! I can't wait for it. The last couple years have just been kinda meh when it comes to my birthday (last year I had to move to a new apartment on it) so I'm excited to celebrate this year with all of my friends.

Unfortunately, I can't make it to Pittsburgh this time. My MIL is very fragile now and she hasn't eaten much the last two weeks. We just put in a hospital bed into the house and we are the doing palliative care thing. I don't thing she is going to be with us much longer.

Yes, the November trip is definitely on. We will be at WDW Nov. 7-11. Don't know which hotel or park schedule yet. We are going to be easy going on this trip, no rushing around I hope.

Oh my, I haven't even thought about it.

I did plan it out in true Disney style. But I mostly did Counter Service for our meals so it will not have much of a dining report.

Afternoon MAYers!

Well another garage sale is over! What is it about them that make you so tired? I could seriously crawl into bed right now for the night!!

Didn't make too awful much today - about $150. We were pretty much just giving a lot of the stuff away. We just wanted it gone! So between that and the $235 I made in early sales and the $250 I made at the sale we had before we moved, the Disney fund is slowly but surely getting there!
