Well, we were going to go to the beach today but decided that the beach always sounds more fun than it actually is... yes we ARE from the coast, LOL-can't you tell- so we're going back to the pool instead. It's better- we don't have to make the drive with sandy toes and , um, nether regions.

I hope you guys all had a great weekend....

I'm with you Shelly and Sea once you see the fireworks in WDW all other fireworks seem ehhh to me... plus last year for the 4th when i told Marissa we were going to the fireworks she was expecting to see the Castle so i won't play with her little heart like that anymore....

Shelly - I'm happy you are already getting along with your neighbors....

Lake - How are your new neighbors???? i know you had a problem with the old ones....

RF - How was moving day????

I did hear about the monorail accident.... That is SO sad.... I feel horrible for his family....

Well for the 4th I went to my mothers in the afternoon then me carlos and Marissa went to eat dinner at Ruby tuesdays then went to see Ice age.... it was such a CUE movie.... loved it.... then yesterday we went to the lake.... i am SO burned..... Marissa decided she wanted to be in the water the whole time we were there.... it was cute... she had fun but i wouldn't go there again... i hate lake... there is no filtration nothing just dirty water ewwww.....

Well off to get ready.... not sure what i'm up to today but it's going to be a beautiful day so i'm outta here.....

Yes, not a fan of the beach, but my favorite Disney resort is the Caribbean BEACH resort!!

Good morning MAYers!

Another busy day here. I already went over to the other house and let the floor guys in, went to the post office and changed our address, called and cancelled our phone & internet service here, called and transferred our garbage service, unloaded the dishwasher, vacuumed the floor, did a load of laundry, talked with the new owners of this house, and did the kids summer reading with them!

Yes, they seem very nice! Thanks goodness, you never know what you are going to get for neighbors. It was nice to sit and visit with them. They have a little boy that is 10 and they just went to Disney in March, so we had plenty to talk about!

Last year we took the boys to the fireworks at the local college. It was actually a pretty good display. But about 10 minutes into it they said they were bored and asked if we could go home!

I guess that's what we get for spoiling them at Disney!

Hey MAYers! I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend! We had a relaxing (mostly) time at the cabin. It was pretty cold the first couple of days, then it got nicer. The girls swam, DH fished, I did nothing.

Now I'm home for a couple of days and then my BFF and I are going to Indianapolis to watch Michael Phelps (and everyone else, but mostly Michael) swim at Nationals! I can't believe it all worked out!

The girls have swimming lessons this week, which I just found out yesterday when we got home, so we need to have our lunch and get ready to go.

Hey all.

Moving was moving. It's my least favorite thing to do ever and I've done it 4 times in the last 3 years.

Luckily, I'm done with that for a while

We only had a few minor problems. My box spring wouldn't go up the stairs because they're at a weird angle - so we had to go out and buy a split one. And other than that it was just the normal stuff - the dolly that we were using broke and all of my christmas decorations flew out of the box into the street.

And we only had 2 casualties - a mirror and a decorative christmas serving platter. Not too bad.

Out of 1.6 million entries, my wife was informed by email this morning that she won tickets to the MJ memorial service at the Staples center. LOLOL! I lost!
She is driving up to Dodger stadium this morning to get her wristband.

Shelly - We are looking at getting into Orlando on Nov. 7th or 8th. Haven't settle on where we are going to be staying this time. We are only going to be there 4 or 5 nights maximum.

We love our next door neighbours and we just found out there is a family with 4 kids just 2 doors down... yippee!!!!!

So far all is going amazingly well.



Shelly - glad things are going so well on your end too.

For the night of our get together we booked a hotel downtown so we will be nice and close for the meet!

Yay for only 2 minor casualties! We already had one. DH and my dad were moving the old refrigerator out of the house Friday and the wall on the stairway got dinged! It's small, but still. And we have to take our refrigerator up the stairs this weekend.

My wife and son picked up the MJ tickets and wristbands at Dodger Stadium! Security and traffic was well organized. Took about 20 minutes to drive through and get processed. The can't take off the wristbands or alter them in any way.
