RF & Shelly - I hope everything goes smoothly with you house closings and appraisals and such. I am sure it is both stressful and exciting at the same time. Congratulations!

NC - Didn't get to see that movie - it seems that if you don't see a movie within 3 or 4 weeks around here you are out of luck. They come and go so fast.
I will definitely pick it up.

Hi Trix!

Aloha Jo!

Saturday night, my son Chris got invited to the Vision Awards. Here are a few pictures he took with some people:

DJ Qualls (Scrubs & Law and Order)

Gil Birmingham (Twilight)

He tried to get a picture with Larry King, but he wasn't in a good mood.

Nice pics Sea!

Jillian looks prettier in that picture than she does on Biggest Loser. Maybe I'm not used to seeing her all dolled up!

Pretty cool!

Larry King in a bad mood? Really? He always seems like he is in a bad mood to me. I am sure that I just don't know him well enough!

Trix - How much money did you make at the garage sale? Are you rich?

As I sit here not being able to do anymore until after closing tomorrow my stomache is in knots. Yet I am thinking about ADR's for our pending trip :confused3 . . . I'm strange, I know!

So if we get to go from Sat to the following Sun we will have 8 ADR's to make!

We each are picking a repeat ~

Me - LeCellier
DH - Big River Grille
DS10 - Crystal Palace Breakfast
DS7 - Sci-Fi Dine In

No one seems to have opinions on the other 4 we choose. I would like to pick 4 that we have never been to before! But it is so hard because of my picky eater kids!

I am thinking about Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner and Kona breakfast. . . . Can't seem to come up with 2 more. . . Any suggestions? Or opinions on WCC or Kona?

I never ate at WCC. We went to Artist Point right next door, so I don't know how the food is but honestly, I think that a dinner at WCC is worth it JUST to see how beautiful the WL is.

Seriously. It is gorgeous.

I'll think of some places that we went to and really liked that were 1 credit.

DDs both said you should go to Boma! :thumbsup2

The kids section of the buffet was really good (nothing weird), and we enjoyed almost everything!

Then you could check out AKL.

That's the main reason I would try WCC, to be able to visit the WL!

We had an ADR for WCC last May but cancelled it because I was afraid there was nothing for the boys to eat. I think they would have a good time there though.

All those AKL menus look funky to us! :rotfl: Is there anything my kids (or I)would eat at Boma? :confused3

It would be nice to go right there after a day at AK. . .

Thinking about the Turf Club at SSR or Olivia's Cafe at OKW. . . . anyone been to either?

I was just thinking if we stay at POR they would just be a boat ride away. Right? I think when we stayed at POFQ the boat stopped at SSR and OKW on the way to DTD. . . . Is that right???

We went to Kona Cafe for a great breakfast.

My wife had the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes and she thoroughly enjoyed them.

Sea

I did see a few people at tables around us order the Tonga Toast. They seem to be enjoying it a lot. Looks very filling!

Shelly - Have you thought about O'hana? For dinner....

I loooove it there! It is my absolute favorite restaurant in WDW. It's kind of a Disney tradition for my family. :goodvibes

Never really thought about Ohana's for dinner. We had breakfast there once and is was good. I'll have to check out the menu. . .

Well, it looks like we are going to be in Florida in November.

A family's friend son is schedule to fly in the space shuttle, STS-129, November 12th. After that we are going on a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.

We would like to go to WDW for a few days before the cruise and shuttle launch. I am planning to visit my friend in Ft. Myers after the cruise.
