Thanks guys, so much. I am a bundle of nerves.

It looks like the worse is over for now. Watching another line on the backside of the first storm that may come at us as well.
Thanks so much for covering us with your prayers.

The Walmart Home Office has been placed on code black, essentially in a locked down position.

Y'all all know how freaked out I am by tornadoes.

Mark called from work and said that there was a bad storm coming, to be aware. His office is 10 minutes north of our house.
About ten minutes later, he called back and said that the tornado sirens were going off at his work and before I could say anything ours started going off.

Our satellite tv went out and we ran and threw the kids and Beau into MCat's bathroom downstairs.

Then the storm came thru and a limb from our tree out back blew off but we didn't ever get a tornado, thank God. They had one up near Mark's office, about 10 minutes north of him. Wall cloud spotted 5 minutes from home.

They're having tornados in Fort smith, Van Buren right now. Reports of tornadoes on the ground.

NC--- you may be getting this storm in just a bit. Straight winds, throwing out tornadoes. 80+mph windspeeds. Be safe.

Oh my! My kids just caught a chipmunk outside and want to keep it for a pet. He's a cute little fellow, but he's still a rodent!

Leave it to my kids to catch a rodent!

Who knows when we will know. We will have to be 100% certain things are going through without a hitch before we close on the sale of our house. We can not be homeless!

It is very stressful and irritating! I would not exactly say I have been patient through it all. I have told a few people just how I feel more than once throughout this process. But sometimes it seems to be the only way to get things done! The bank out in CA will not deal with me, my attorney, or my realtor. Therefore it makes it very hard. They will only deal with the listing agent for the sellers, who is my realtor's co-worker and he is very lazy and not helpful at all!

I JUST WANT TO SCREAM!!!!

Lately (when I am trying not to think about the house issues) I have been thinking about the WL. . . Am I crazy???

It has never really appealed to me before and I have no idea why it is now. . . The kids and I were looking at pictures of it online yesterday. I wanted to make a trip to visit it on our last trip, but we just didn't fit it in. One time we had an ADR at WCC but ended up thinking it would be too dumb and cancelled it. Now I kind of wish we would have went and checked it out.

I always said too that AK and WL would be my last choices for a deluxe because the rooms are the same size as CBR's rooms, but the pricetag is much higher! But now I like the looks of the bunk-bed rooms and of course the balcony. Not sure about the location. . . we are more of Epcot/DHS people. But I'm thinking that the BC/YC thing is just not going to happen next year due to DH's job/moving/etc. . .

Any WL thoughts/opinions/suggestions???

Spike... a very good name. If Beau Gator the Bulldog lived closer he'd like to have Spike for a .....

It's such a shame that in today's day and age no one ever seems to do what they say they are going to do, no one ever follows thru, to get anything done is always a challenge, and then, when you do lose your temper after being patient for so long, they finally get moving and do something-- just to keep you strung along for a little bit more.

Unbelievable.

I think I would send your DH up to that office and light a major fire under that other realtors behind.

Course, I don't know if your DH would be like Mark. Mark is so kind and slow to burn but OMG, he's known for being downright scary once he's had enough and he gets angry and then it's no holds barred. It ain't pretty. But it gets the job done.

Where real estate, moving, sales etc are concerned... it never ever seems like an easy- peasy process. Always a pain in the rear.

Well you know, Shelly, that I totally love the WL. Love love love it.

The rooms, I have been into b/c our friends from SC were staying there when we went last MAY.
The bunk beds are neat. They had their room on the ground foor, overlooking the pool area.
I thought the room was an okay size. Just okay. The bunk beds are huge and take up a lot of the room. Can't remember now if they had a king size bed or not as well.
But there were 4 of them and there are 4 of you so I think it would be okay.

Transportation is fun... take the boat to and from the MK, hop the monorail once at MK to Ep, or take the bus from the hotel to AK/DHS.

If you think about it, either way, you have to travel to a park somehow b/c all the parks aren't near one another. I don't think of transportation as being a big deal either way.

And while I love EP- my fave park and I totally missed it big time while in DL....
the BC area would be my last choice to stay at.

The WL is very cozy and beautiful and nice.

My realtor just called to tell me that the appraisal didn't happen at the new house on Wednesday because the power wasn't turned on. WHAT??? We had the power turned on for the inspections. I specifically told her earlier in the week that she needed to go and turn the breaker on for the appraisal. And I just not so nicely told her that I told her that earlier this week. To which she replied - oh yeah, I'll take care of it and hung up. Take care of it??? How is she going to take care of it? It is after 3:00 on Friday. We won't get an appraisal until next week now.

Furthermore - why is she just finding out about this now??? Why wasn't she at the appraisal?

It's just like you said JO - no one does their job anymore. People are just lazy and blame their mistakes on everyone else all the time. I AM VERY MAD RIGHT NOW!!!

Shelly I am so sorry! That is so terrible.
I'm sure she expects you to pay her on time, so why can't she do what she is required to do ontime or when necessary. People are crazy... not only are they lazy... no common curtesy at all.

Jo- we may need directions to that ol' tree again.. Shelly might want to use it.
