I just so I don't so to Kooky...

Chloe is graduating from Elementary and Chris from Middle School so that makes a lot of this busier than just normal end of school crazy!

I have to shower...

I have spent the morning trying to update my calendar with the kids activities and end of school functions. Making appointments for doctor for camp, filling out forms for activities for next year, end of school teacher gifts, etc.

I don't know what I would do if I had 3 kids!

:dance3:

I know what you mean.
And I just adding moving to the mix...:scared1:

You reminded me of something though... end of year teacher gifts.. for us its a goodbye to them as well I guess.

QOTD - what do you normally give the teacher at the end of the year?

I like the daisy daisy..but then again I am partial to blues and greens.

I like the Puccini.

But I also like Kris Allen!

So you may want to go with the Daisy Daisy!

:rotfl:

Okay ladies...so one vote for Daisy Daisy and one vote Puccini? I appreciate your opinions, but...it's a TIE! :headache: (Unless I factor in the Kris Allen thing, of course.) :lmao:

Actually, I have nothing against Kris, I just didn't pick him to be in the top three...I may have, but he got NO camera time before the top 13 (when I had to make my pics).

Also, I got the Mod Floral Pink in a different style bag that I used for park touring at WDW!

I really like the Mod Floral Pink, but a good friend of mine has that pattern so I shouldn't copy...or should I??? :scratchin

Busy day here. Hope all is well in MAYerland! :goodvibes

Still trying to get a deal worked out on the house. . .

I'm off to make an early dinner and head off to soccer in a bit. Have a great afternoon!

QOTD:

What is your favorite ride at each park?

Mine are...

DHS - ToT
Ep - Soarin'
MK - Splash
AK - EE

An oldie, but I'm just catching up.....:)
DHS - Toy Story Mania
EP - 3-Way Tie - Soarin'/Test Track/M:S
MK - TTA!!! (I'm so sad that it's down til August)
AK - Not a ride, but Festival of the Lion King

sold!!!!!!!!

We have to be out of here by July 3, and I have 5 houses I am dying to see... So excited now!!!

CONGRATULATIONS LAKE!!!!!!
That's AWESOME!

Vera Bradley is a line of handbags.

www.verabradley.com

The Cargo Sling is on sale cheap (discontinued, I think) to the tune of $90 vs. $25...but I can't decide between Puccini or Daisy Daisy...or neither. :lmao:

I need to get a case for my iPod, and it's on sale for $10 (in microfiber), but the shipping will be $8 just for that! If I got the cheap Cargo Sling, I'd still pay only $8 for shipping. How can I possibly pass it up??? :confused3

Personal preference is Daisy Daisy, but I definitely have a preference to blues and greens :)

Hey MAYers!!! It's been pretty busy here in Mayer-land lately :) I had 20+ pages to catch up on.

I got to meet RF last night!!! Her and Bob came through Space and happened upon me when I was meandering through the building doing nothing :) She'll have to post the pic when she gets back, but said their trip had been going VERY well.

Lets see....in the last 10 days or so, since I've last been on here have been busy as usual.
Cinco de Mayo - Friends, Fun, and Margaritas were had

Lots of pool days! I've been pretty much every day for the last week. I haven't been yet today, but it's still early-ish.

Went to Universal last Thursday, did Studios first and went on everything but the Mummy. However all of the spinny-simulator type rides resulted in 3 very green people, all we ended up doing in IOA was getting lunch and the Dr. Suess area.

Riding the Carou-Suessal :) I was trying to take a pic of myself and ended up with all 3 of us.

Been working a decent amount as well, next week's gonna be killer though....62 hours :scared1: over 6 days! Thank goodness I have plans for my day off of spending it lounging at Typhoon Lagoon with my two besties.

Hello hello!

Had a busy morning- MCat had an ortho consult for braces- she got spacers and will be getting the braces on in 3 weeks. Poor thing- she's sooooo sore- but- the good news is that they aren't costing anywhere near what I thought they would, so I'm a happy girl. My insurance is paying $1500 of the total. I like the Dentist--- He's from Pittsburgh!!!:rotfl:

Trixie-- I like the Daisy Daisy too... but I'm a Kris Allan fan as well.:lmao: But my fave one is the Java one- in fact, I think I'll order me and MCat each one.;) Thanks for the link.

Sea-- I have to study the map of Laguna-- thanks so much for the info. Mark asked me at lunch if I was ready to go- :confused3 I said "how can I be ready when I don't know where I'm going or what I'm doing?" he laughed and said "just enjoy it." Anyway- thanks for the info.

Shelly- hope your deal is reached soon. Then MAY will have a different meaning to you as well.

Lake- try not to stress too much.

Mari- wow- what a story about your photo album. Good you got another one.

NC- if you had three children you'd be insane. Insane I tell ya!
Well, at least I am.:laughing::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Um, teachers gifts-- Starbucks gift cards.:rolleyes1 Everyone loooves it here. That or Sonic. I'm sort of leaning towards Sonic- b/c they can use them witht heir kiddos for slushes all summer.:upsidedow

Hey Jo!!!!
The hours aren't too bad, I just know that I tend to have to decompress for a couple hours after the really long shifts.

The crowds have definitely died off since the beginning of the month, but Spring Break was crazy busy. It was definitely busier than last year.

QOTD - what do you normally give the teacher at the end of the year?

I give both of Chloe's teachers cash! Chris's 10 teachers are getting Sonic gift cards.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery!!!:thumbsup2

Kris Allen is really BIG around here. He is from Conway, AR which is about 30 minutes from where I live. Last week, people were taking their kids out of school to go to the concert. HUGE I tell you!

Chocolate, Champagne & Lingerie! (lolol - I am the teacher's husband :smooth:)

Be so glad you have insurance that will help cover the braces. Our insurance doesn't pay a dime. Chris's braces were a little over $5000, Chloe's were only $2000 (I won her's at a silent auction at Heart Ball.) Her's are phase I. She was supposed to wear them 1 year and then have them off a year and then get phase II braces. Well, she is growing so fast, our ortho said that she will be going straight into phase II. So I am sure that will more $$$$!!!!!:scared1:

I do think I am insane. My friend told me at lunch today to slow that I wasn't making any sense. :lmao:

It is too funny that you give Starbucks or Sonic. I gave Starbucks at Christmas and am giving Sonic for end of school.

OK, I have 3 more forms to fill out tonight, athletic physical forms, football program ads, and one for Chloe that I cannot remember. :confused3

Then Chloe wants to go to the School of Rock concert tonight. This is the place where she takes drum lessons.

Tomorrow night is the Middle School Dance, and another School of Rock concert.

Oh and Chris and his little girlfriend are back together. She just missed him so much. :lovestruc Who knows what drama awaits the family on this point.

Have a great night!!!!

Good Morning

It's sunny today and I am volunteering at the school this morning for the read-and-walkathon.

Then it's back to packing. My dining room looks like a liquor store..:rotfl:
Jason stopped and picked up a whole bunch of empty boxes there yesterday.

So did anyone else watch Grey's Anatomy last night.... any thoughts???
I have a comment... but I want to see who wants to play along first before I spoil something for anyone else.

I watched Grey's...and gasped...and cried.

I hadn't seen many this season, but I don't really think it mattered for last night's show.

Ooooooohhhh, when do we get to hear your thoughts??? popcorn::

as soon as "the patient" did the 007..and Meredith said the numbers out loud I knew it was George.

Alex had called him 007 in the first season, after he had botched his very first surgery... 007- licensed to kill.

I too gasped... NO..NOT GEORGE!!!!!

Did they reference the 007 thing last night too, about him enlisting and being a "real 007" or something? Because I knew it was him as soon as she said it, too.

What do you think is going to happen to them? I haven't really kept up with the gossip/hype/speculation.

Did you see last week's show? I heard it was really good...should I watch it or will it be gut-wrenching, too????

I watched last weeks too.. I usually watch them online the day after though.
But last night I watched Grey's instead of CSI... as Jason was watching hockey upstairs so the t.v. was ALL MINE.

Our canadain station ..of ctv.ca shows the shows online.
So I catch up that way over breakfast a lot, after the kids are on the bus. :)
