I can't get over how many showings you have. Our realtor told us right up front that we would not have many showings and when we did have them it would only be people that were very interested. She says most people shop online now. I know that is what we have done. We can pretty much tell from the online listing if we are interested or not. And we've only gone to look at 3 houses total.

All the people coming through to our house are coming with their agent, or have seen us online and then call my agent to come and see it. So they all know the house that they are coming to see, and still nothing yet. It's always down to us and another house. Our house does not have a garage...so everytime it seems the garage sells it at the other house. But it's been more than 50 showings I swear. It seems that way.

We have only gone to see one house... but we arn't into viewing any right now because we don't want to find one we fall in love with and then lose it because someone else has a cash offer and we can't sell our house. So we can't compete.

I really am trying to stay positive and have faith...but after all the work I have done for showings and getting my hopes up... it's hard. It's like we have been on hold all year. Not being able to sign the kids up for any extended sports programs because we didn't know if we would be here for the entire season, not being able to take off whenever we want to because we may need to have a showing, ect... I admit I'm getting tired of it all.
I have books and pictures and photo albums already packed away in boxes, and lots of other things already packed away so that the packing is started in case it's a quick moving date. With Jason being away so much I know I'll have to do a lot of it myself, so I am trying to stay in control of it all... but I'm not getting to use and enjoy those things while we are here because they are packed away. I also wish I could just let my kids PLAY!!! But I'm always in fear of a last minute showing where I would have to do a cleaning blitz. Don't get me wrong they play all the time... but you know how it is... you want things to look just perfect when people come through ... so messy things like art and crafts and painting and playdough and toys with lots of pieces are not selling friendly right now.

Okay... I think I am done my little rant... or stress reliever. Sorry! I guess I needed it! Thanks for listening!
