What? Im first this morning???? Must be might busy in MAYerland today.

I tell ya what- I am sick of the Swine. I am so bored I could scream.

Yesterday, I drove for the first time since Sat.-- just down to the bus stop-- and OMGosh. You know that tunnel in the Buzz ride- right at the end-- how disoriented you feel in it? Yeah- that was def. me. I was only going 20 mph and it felt like I was going 60 mph.

Not good.

So here I sit, once again. Temp hovering at 100-- which is almost normal for me-- I'm normal at 99.7. I run HOT.:lmao:

Tomorrow is of course the game against Kentucky.
Oh oh oh! I got our Tix to the Miss State game yesterday! It was almost as wonderful as Disney Mail--- (but not quite, LOL.)

Also-- Belle's class is going to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs at the theater tomorrow. That will be fun.

Huuuuummmm-- what else?

Oh yeah- NC-- I hadn't heard that the recession was over!!!!! Well, that seals the deal. WDW-- here we come.

:lmao:

Jo

Shelly--- news? any news?????

Hope it's good news.

Jo

Hello MAYers!

Thanks for all the pixie-dust! Still waiting to hear about the lot. . . . Yesterday the realtor said we had a verbal offer. Then last night she said she's about 85% sure we will be getting an offer. Apparently this guy is a contractor and he wants to make sure he has a home buyer lined up before he makes his official offer. So we wait. . . . .

Picture day at the school this morning. Now I'm just getting things ready for DS's party tomorrow.

Morning MAYers!

Doing laundry and working on Race for the cure stuff! Tons of Fun!

The next couple of weeks are going to be hectic around here!

Morning Sea, Shelly, NC.

Shelly- is your son excited for his party? Did you ever have anyone else confirm??

NC-- I did one load of laundry!:) That's really a giant step forward for me.:lmao:
Actually- I washed them. I haven't done much else with them.
How's your son's arm doing??

Okay--- can I just say how awesome it is to be able to renew your vehicle registration on line???
Whoever came up with that one should win the Einstein of the Century award.

Which, btw- I will never win, b/c it seems that both children born in the Winter months as well as those kids that are spanked have lower IQ's.

I'm doomed to failure.

:rotfl2:

I wonder if there's any studies out there saying kids who got switches in their stockings become crazy ladies in their *ahem* thirties????

Morning Sea, Shelly, NC.

Shelly- is your son excited for his party? Did you ever have anyone else confirm??

Yes, he is very excited!! :yay: Well, I have received 4 confirmations and 2 more kids have told him that they are coming but I haven't heard from their parents. :upsidedow Plus there are still a few that never let us know either way. So who knows what we will end up with!

Okay- so I must be feeling better------ I've got stories!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao:

So I'm listening to Subsonic. like I always do-- and right now, they are playing the SciFi Dine in loop- the whole thing where you sit and watch the screen. It's playing all of the old space movie trailers and such and I was thinking about how silly they all used to be . You know--"Beware of the Blob, it creeps, and leaps, and slides and glides across the floor, and more.." and the crazy man who never stops growing--"I don't want to grow anymore!!!" and such silliness of that era-- which is all so fun to hear.

So I get up to put a load into the washer- and when I'm done, I went into Drew's bathroom in his bedroom to wash my hands. (They're chapped from washing so much--). So I notice this towel folded really nicely on his counter between his two sinks, and pick it up, walking out into the media room as I go, not paying attention.

I walk back into his bathroom to throw away this piece of paper that was on the floor- when all of a sudden I step on something cold and slimy and it squishes in between my toes. I jump and yell and scream and holler (my windows are open, I know the nighbors think I'm nuts) and look down and
IT'S A FREAKIN' ALIEN RIGHT THERE ON THE FLOOR.

I am so not kidding.

I pick it up and SLING it across the room, it lands into the sink and I'm peering at it from across the way- scared half to death- Subsoncic's Sci Fi Dine In still playing (LOUDLY) in the background.

I'm thinking Good Lord, I'm in the dadgum 50's movie! It's after me-- it will kill me with it's death ray.

Then I remember that Drew had won one of those STUPID things that grow-- you know, they are itty bitty and you put them in water for a few days and wham-o you have your very own alien or monster or what have you.

So no, Arkansas has not been invaded by aliens.
However, Jo might not ever be the same.

Jo

True story.

Not kidding.:rotfl:

Ms. Swiney Behiney gets attacked by Spongy Spacey Thingy! - LOLOL :lmao:

Chris's arm is doing great or so it seems. He has quit complaining about it. I haven't made him demonstrate how much he can bend it today. He hates that!

I read that thread about the spanking & IQ's. Darn I just wonder how smart my kids would have been had I NOT spanked them. I think being in Pre - AP Algebra II in 9th grade ain't too shabby. :rolleyes1

I'm glad Chris's arm is doing better already! :goodvibes

I hadn't read that about spankings and IQ's. But I was thinking the same thing when JO posted that! Advanced Math & Spelling isn't too bad for a kid who may have had a spanking or two. :rolleyes1

I hope you guys have a wonderful party!!!!

Thanks! :cool1:

Beautiful day here in Arkansas! Sunny and it isn't raining!!! :goodvibes

Heading out to take DD to dance and then off to work on setting up the Race for the Cure Registration/Boutique Space.

Have a great Saturday MAYers!!!!

Happy Saturday MAYers!

What a crappy day here. Rainy and chilly. Yuck! :sad2: I told you we would have to pay for those 2 weeks of perfect weather we just had. And it looks as if we will be paying for it most of next week.

Thank goodness DS's party is indoors! :goodvibes

Oh, and 6 WEEKS til Disney!!! :cool1::woohoo::cool1::woohoo:

Good Morning MAYers!

Swiney Behiney report....

Last night my fever spiked again top 101.2-- felt awful again. Went to bed.
Woke up this morning feeling FAB-- lots of energy! Mark said I looked so much better.
Checked my fever-- still 101!!!!! But I feel really good!:confused3 I sat out on the deck and had coffee with Mark- first time all week-- for two hours. The weather is just beautiful and it felt sooooo good to get outside. I've lost an entire week of my life.
I'm wondering at this point if it hasn't gone to my sinuses- b/c I feel congested in the head.
If I'm still running a temp tomorrow morning, I'll go to a walk in dr's care facility.

Shelly- hope your birthday party goes well and you have a wonderful turn out. And hey-- at least you have something to do on a rainy yucky day--- nothing better than an inside swim.:woohoo:
Awwwww--- that's terrible it's raining--- i just remmebered that our old church's fall festival is today. Dang- that's bad. poor guys. So much for the hayrides and corn mazes.:headache:
Yay for six weeks to go!
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

NC--- have fun being busy.

Sea--- hope your bagels are great-- I;m on my way down to make Kashi Go lean waffles. YUM.:yay:

:headache:

So----------------------------------
nothing else to report. (Oh yeah- except Tebow's got a "Flu like illness".
Oh brother, not good for my Gators.)

So that's my story.

No aliens to speak of today.:rotfl2:

Have a great Saturday, MAYers!:woohoo:

Jo

Sorry to hear about the soggy weather Shelly. I hope the birthday party is a blast.

Glad you are feeling a better today Jo.

The bagels were good. Now we are going over to my MIL's house to clear out more stuff. I think we will be done by the end of next week.

I forgot tell you all what happen last Friday night! OMG. Ok, so after dinner last week Jeremy drives over to the house to take care of the animals my MIL left us - two cats and one dog. One of the cats is outdoors.

So this cat likes to lay in the driveway all the time and Jeremy pulls up and honks at it and it moves away as usual...but this time it darts back in front of the car and Jeremy runs over the cat!

Well, he calls us all upset..."I ran over the cat!" And I am thinking, great, I just had dinner and now I am going to have to clean up this mess - barf!
We drive over there and he is crying, the neighbors are all out there - gosh what drama. The mess wasn't too bad. Got a couple of plastic bags and a shovel and took care of it.

Fortunately our animal shelter is open 24 hours...what a way to end that week.

Glad that this week we had no dead cats to deal with. LOL

Sea

Ewwwww- Sea- I'm so sorry- that is sad and gross at the same time.:guilty: Poor kitty.

On Thursday, our lawn guys came - and they have those HUGE riding lawn mowers- well-- they had been out there for awile, when Belle came in yelling.

Seems that we *had* baby bunnies in the backyard and the lawn guy didn't see them.

:guilty::sad1::guilty::sad1::guilty::sad1::guilty::sad1::guilty::sad1::guilty::sad1:

Sometimes it's sad when nature meets up with humans.:sad2:

Jo

So- today I've been planning my ficticious trip to WDW May 1-8.:goodvibes

It's going to be just me and Mark, on our (late) Anniversary Trip.
We will be staying at WL woods view:lovestruc, getting 7 day park hoppers, with the DxDP.

We will be eating at :
(The starred ones are ones we haven't eaten at before)

TS:
Artist Point*
TeppanEdo*
Kona (Breakfast)* (we've eaten dinner there-)
Liberty Tree Tavern
San Angel Inn
Jiko*
Le Cellier
O'Hana* (or possibly Narcoossee's*--)
California Grill
Tutto Italia*

And then of course we'll throw in a few others-- b/c we'll have some credits left over. (We''l probably do some later breakfasts-)

We'll have 42 total TS credits and 28 snack credits between the two of us. I think that will be sufficient for us.

I also sort of penciled out which parks on what days-- so I had a tentative plan of action.
Shelly was my inspiration--:goodvibes and Shel, you will be proud of me when I say that I only planned 2 (Possibly 3) rope drops. :scared1: AND I planned LOTS of resort down time and relaxation time throughout the days.

Heck-- one day, I don't even have us going to a park at all!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused3:scared1::confused3

And you know what? I really like my plans!:goodvibes

It will be a different vacation for us to do it that way- but the WL is so beautiful- I want to be able to relax and enjoy it a lot.

And I'd also like to see some of the other resorts that we've never been to-- I want to take a boat over to Ft Wilderness, and look around AK as well.

We'll also watch Wishes! From the beach at the Poly or GF one night too.

So see------- relaxing Anniversary Trip!!!!!:goodvibes

I knew I could plan it.:rotfl:

Jo

Jo

Glad you are feeling better today JO!

I forgot you mentioned your old Church's festival to me a long time ago. I don't even think I responded. Sorry! :guilty: We have been by the Church a few times and saw the sign because I remember thinking it was the same day as DS's party. What a nasty day for the festival. Thank goodness I did not plan an outdoor party.

Sorry to hear about the soggy weather Shelly. I hope the birthday party is a blast.

Sea

Thanks Sea, the party went very well. We had 8 kids. All boys!! :scared1:

Well, he calls us all upset..."I ran over the cat!" And I am thinking, great, I just had dinner and now I am going to have to clean up this mess - barf!
