Morning Sea. :)

Hey someone just posted this on the January thread:

"From Len Testa on Touringplans.com -

Details are still being worked out, but we’ve heard from multiple, usually-reliable sources that Disney’s Buy-4-Get-7 deal will return next week. The announcement may be made as early as Monday, but could be as late as Thursday. Value resorts will have a slightly different “Buy-5-Get-2″ deal. Travel dates, we hear, could be October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010. Book by December 20, 2009 (we think that’ll be extended). And you must purchase Magic Your Way tickets to match the number of nights of your stay."

Just a heads up JO, or anyone else thinking about going early next year! :goodvibes

That would be great if they did it though.

They still haven't decided??? :scared1: I think ADR's are opening back up to 180 days in October. You guys better decide when you are going or you may not be able to eat while you're there! :rotfl:

Hey, we've got to get working on this Frankenmuth meet when I get back from Disney! :goodvibes Don't forget!

Shelly- I'm here.

(Morning Sea!)

Shelly- that's exciting news! I was just looking at different prices for places.
Actually, I was looking into *YIKES!!* a Land and Sea--- b/c Mark saw a commercial last night and said he was interested.:confused3 I don't really wanna go on a cruise- but I think he thinks it would be relaxing.
Kids sail free next year- so I got the price all the way down to right under $6K.

Blech.

Not interested. :confused3

4 days at sea, two nights on land only b/c he has to get back for work and wants a day at home. That would be staying those nights at the BC. I just chose what was available. I could get it cheaper, obviously.

Anyway-- back to the 4/3 deal-------- do you think that is comparable to the 40% off- or is 40% off a better deal?

Just wondering what I should measure it by- I could b0ok the Poly for all of us on Spring Break (In one room--- yikes) for around 3K- no dining plan.
(That's with taking 40% off). Of course at the POFQ with two rooms would be a little less, and more room.

Hum- just curious. Anyone know???

Jo

YIKES  Those Disney cruises are expensive!! I know I have priced them out a few times and I am always surprised. We can do a whole week at Disney cheaper than a 3-4 day cruise.

I believe when I got the 4/3 deal in January I figured up that it was about 43% off, staying at a moderate. So very similar to a 40% off code. It was also very similar in price to free dining for a family of 4. So any of them are about the same savings for us.

At one point Trixie and I had all these deals figured out to the penny! :rotfl:

Shelly - Congrats to your son on winning the election.

Jo - Sorry no more Momma pictures today, but glad you are feeling much better and that the household is running smoothly.

Lake - Good luck with all the party plans.

Hello to everyone else!

Jo - 6K for a 4 day cruise for 5 people? What kind of room on board? That does seem kind of high.

The Disney Wonder is coming to the west coast in 2011 and it will be sailing the Mexican Riveria Sept - March and Alaska May - Sept. They haven't put out the rates yet but they did mention that Mexican cruises start at $639 per person, inside cabin, double occupancy.

Oh My Gosh MAYers, keep your fingers crossed for us. Send us some pixie-dust! We MAY have an offer coming in on the lot. . . . :wizard::goodvibes

You're never going to believe this, but as I was reading your post, I was standing hunched over my computer (which was on the table) with my feet crossed! And I never hunch over like that!

I think it's a sign. pixiedust:

Thanks!! Fingers crossed, feet crossed, I'll take whatever I can get! :goodvibes

Okay- I'm not going to be as good a friend as Trixie and twist myself into a human pretzel- but hey- I got the Swine, so you'll let me off the hook?

Therefore- I am blowing much pixie dust your way.
:wizard::wizard:

:wizard::wizard:

Good luck with the offer!-

I know you're tired of dealing with all of it.

Jo

Sea- hey- actually the cruise would be 3K -- four nights to the Bahamas- not bad-- all 5 of us in one stateroom- on the 8th deck--I think it was --it said it's their highest passenger deck-- with a private balcony.

The other 3K would be park tix and taxes and hotel fees for the two nights at Disney.

But now news flash--- as of lunchtime---- Mark just said he doesn't want to spend any money "right now", so I'm back to wanting to choke him again.:rotfl:

He'll just wait until April like he always does when there are no more deals and say book it.:confused3

*sigh*

Doesn't he realize I got the Swine and have nothing better to do than plan trip after trip?:lmao:

Shelly - Good luck! I hope you have an offer!

Jo - Didn't Mark hear? The recession is over! I saw it on TV. :happytv:

So go ahead and plan that trip and spend the money...:rolleyes1
