Well, we didn't do the epoxy today - my uncle had to work - so that was one less thing that we had to do.

I just got done making dinner. And watching the Gators game....

Afternoon MAYers!

DH got called into work today. Some big emergency. The kids and I went to Church and are now waiting to see if he makes it home before soccer. DS10 has his first home game today and I'd really like DH to be there, especially since he had to miss last week's away game.

Another beautiful sunny warm day here. Supposed to be around 77 I think. I seriously think it's been nice out everyday for about 2 weeks (does that seem right RF?) and I am loving it! I hope this is what the FL November weather will be like! Warm, sunny, highs in the upper 70's, and cool in the evenings!

hey guys.

I'm typing from bed- excuse the larger than normal spelling disasters.

I *think* I might have the Swine Flu.

Been in bed since 7 : 30 last night.

Feels like someone has been kicking the snot out of my legs and arms all day. Sore throat, fever- 101.7, minor cough, runny/stuffy nose.

It is certainly mild if it is the H1N1- but dang====== I feel rotten.

And of course, being the puny one that i am- when I stand up, I get dizzy and everything turns black. And with my hx of passing out.... Mark crawled into bed to be with me all night and most of today so he could help me to the bathroom if need be.

Grrrrrr.

He's so sweet to me. But I really don't want him to get sick.

PS-
RF- please don't let that be your only Gators game of the seaspon. WE looked awful. Two of our players were playing with the flu- another one got a pinched nerve on one of the first plays of the game, another one was hurt with tendonitis in his heel/ankle and tried playing, but had to leave. ANd one of our receivers wasn't even playing b/c he's injured.

WE didn't even look like ourselves. I told Mark I felt jipped and robbed.

But a win is a win. And when Tebow lowered his head and popped Eric Berry...
I admit......
I grinned.

Then I hit rewind.

About 5 times.

And what a way to top off the day but a visit to the Tiki room and visit with Maynard!

We had a awesome time together yesterday. Lots of laughs and happiness filled our day. We were able to see Aladdin musical, Scot Bruce, Stompy Jones, the fireworks and Fantasmic! Cornelia got her annual pass yesterday too! Mike and Mary are great Mayer people! They really love Disney and are a blast to hang around with.

Mary and I made a special "scream out" video for you guys... that is coming up soon.

Well DH made it to DS10's game at half time. The game was terrible, they lost 5-0. Couldn't believe it. But DS still had fun!

DS7's team won 5-3. It was a very good game.

Burger Report!

Tried a new burger place tonight - The Habit. (More palm trees for Trix ) http://www.habitburger.com/

We got their signature burger which is the "Charburger" with cheese. They built it with lettuce, tomato, pickles, caramelized onions and mayo. We ordered them dry because we really don't like mayo on a burger and asked for mustard and thousand island dressing on the side. They came with thousand island on them, but they made us another batch which was cool. The fries and onion rings were great!

Overall, I would give them 4 stars for food and service. A better value than Fatburger. $5.95 for burger, fries and soda. They also had desserts available that were fair prices too. I would go here again, but it is a little out of the way for us to come on a regular basis. This location is in El Segundo south of LAX.
