Definitely another time...we will see how this next year pans out. Maybe we can come up to PA and visit Hershey and meet up there? I have always wanted to check that out some day.

YAY ~ A Hershey meet would be fun!! :cool1:

LOL - you forgot frogs and those love bugs too! You would probably like it minus the heat and the humidity during the summer, but overall, the weather in that area is decent. No more snow to contend with...what does your husband think?

No way, he hates the heat & humidity. I don't think he'd ever go there to live!

They did announce Star Tours 2 to be ready 2011. It is definitely coming to DL but I would think it would also be installed in WDW. Have to find out. Then there is Cars Land at DCA. This is going to be huge - 12 acres - with the key attraction, Radiator Springs Racers - a Test Track type attraction. I think that these rides and attractions haven't left out the boys.

I saw this link on another thread.

This looks really neat, but I'll never understand why so much princess stuff . . . What about families with little boys?

We tested the Storyteller's Sandbox a few times and were always amazed by it. I can definitely envision many different types of applications for it.

Yes, they had PP people there. Here is a picture of my son with Wall-E.

Oh. My. Goodness.

That sandbox is so cool!!! Forget the classroom...I want one in my house!!! :rotfl2:

Were those Photopass-type photograpers by Wall-E, etc.? Did you get pictures taken? :cool2:

That would be great if those things came to WDW!

It just seemed to me that the expansion of Fantasyland at WDW is really geared for girls! princess:

Shelly I think you bring up a good point about having stuff for the boys. I have definitely seen a much bigger push of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Pirates merchandise and clothing the last 5 years than in previous years. With the addition of the Pixar line of characters - you are seeing a more boy oriented ideas. Are your boys into comic books? There are some really neat Cars and Incredibles comics out right now. It is out there, and more is coming.

Mornin'!

Today is Toy Story Midway Mania for the Wii Day! :woohoo:

We preordered a copy that's being shipped today, but I want to play it TODAY, so I'll be at the video store when they open to try to get the ONE copy they have.

Wish me luck (because this is such an incredibly important thing)! :lmao:

Did you get it?

OMG! The Biggest Loser is going to be sooo good this season. I was bawling like a baby in the 1st 10 minutes and I am definitely going to the gym tomorrow.

Seriously. No more excuses for me. :goodvibes

I can't believe this has been the first time I have been able to check in today.
Busy day I guess.

Lets just say that school is definitely back in session, as I received a call today that Ethan was sick and I needed to get him.
Poor little guy was waiting in the office, sad and messy. The secretary was great, and she said he was brave and didn't cry or anything. If it was me at that age, having that happen after only a week at a new school, and still not knowing anyone there in terms of adult figures. I would have been terrified.
I'm so proud of him, and of how he handled himself.
Needless to say, I quickly go to the school with a change of clothes, and brought him home. After about an hour his stomach settled and he is well now, and is excited to go back to school. :)

Biggest Loser starts tonight!

Holy Crap! I forgot it was on!!!

I was at "Meet the Teacher Night" at school and was in such a yank to get home because I didn't want to miss Shaq Vs. PHELPS. I was not disappointed. ;)

Is Biggest Loser online??? Crap, crap, crap! I was hoping to get motivated by watching. :rolleyes1

Good morning MAYers!

How was Meet the Teacher night Trixie?

I hope Ethan is all better today Lake and is able to go to school. Poor little guy.

I've got to take the dog to the vet later this morning and we have soccer practice tonight. Maybe I'll do another update to my PTR today. So what else do people talk about in their PTR's besides their upcoming WDW plans anyway???

How was Meet the Teacher night Trixie?

It was really good. Of course, I had met the three of them before (DD9 has two teachers), but DH got to see the school, classrooms and meet his daughters' teachers. I think overall he was very impressed. :thumbsup2 The principal came in a thanked everyone for passing a bond for technology and environmental improvements and it was amazing to hear how many things are changing for the better before next school year! I was most impressed about them putting skylights in the hallways so they don't have to have lights on all the time and installing motion sensors in the rooms...not to mention all the new computers! :woohoo: Our private school had a very small budget, so those things wouldn't have ever happened. Very exciting stuff!

Wow that sounds great! :goodvibes

Morning...

Ethan is well this morning and ready to go back to school.
Hopefully all will go great as I have a doctors appointment today, and then I'll come home and pack for my little getaway to Toronto tomorrow.

My girlfriend and I are heading up for the U2 concert at the Rogers center (skydome). Then a little shopiing and home late late friday night.
i'm excited for this little break. Jason is taking a day off to be with the kids and relax a bit himself as well.

Trix - Did you find BL online? It was a good one! There are so many people this season that I like so far! It's going to be sad to see them go.
