Just cuddle up with your laptop tonight and watch a good episode of BB. Have you read about all that happened with Chima??? I for one (and I'm sure I'm not alone) am very glad she is gone!! I can't wait to see tonight's episode, although from what I hear they had to cut A LOT of what actually happened out.

Aren't siblings funny? I told them yesterday after we picked up DS7 that I did not expect to hear any fighting since they missed each other so much. And actually they got along quite well!

Yes, apparently Chima had a huge meltdown because things weren't going her way for once. It's a game. What the crap did she think was going to happen? She was destroying property, yelling, screaming, swearing, trying to "bust out". Oh my! All because she got nominated. Has she never watched the show before? I feel bad for her family and the embarrassment they must be feeling.

I still want Jeff to win too. I wonder what they will do about the jury being short one person now. . .

My friend Amanda sent me a message .
They went to see Malik's neurosurgeon yesterday and they are not 100% sure on the biopsy so thats gonna be a few more days. But unfortunately she said they are 95% sure its an aggressive cancer. On a scale of 1-10 she thinks it between 6-10 for aggressiveness. So on Thursday they'll be heading back to London for another MRI on his back to make sure it hasn't already spread.

So we are stll praying.
Just thought I would keep you updated.

Little Malik is in my heart and mind and prayers are being said for him and his family as well.

I'll be thinking about Malik today. I really hope everything turns out well for them Lake.

I need a little bit of prayers too today MAYers.

My aunt Jacqualine is going in today for a complete hysterectomy. Last week she was at her gyno for a follow up on an abnormal pap smear and they found cervical cancer. She's only 46, I think. The good news is that doctors think they found it early enough. They just found it in an annual check-up. So that's a blessing.

But she's going in for surgery today. I just hope that she comes out with a clean bill of health and that they caught it in the early stages.

We felt a bit like Nemo and friends this morning.


Everyone got to where they were going without incident.
No tears from anyone...
a first in this house---kids OR mom.

MCat doesn't go back until tomorrow--- they went on Monday and then had two days off-----so she and I will be shopping today.


I'm feeling a bit better this morning. Not so congested.

Whew. I think I'm going to make it.

I have another follow up myself in 2 weeks in regards to some abnormal results as well. So I understand some of the stress as well.

We went to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Chicago yesterday and it was INCREDIBLE! I want to go again! And I want to read all the books again (and I've already read all of them twice, and Half-Blood Prince 3 times)!!!

I feel like such a traitor because I just started reading Twilight.

We had a great send off. It was so different. DD didn't want to be walked in to school since she is a BIG middle schooler. Of course, DS didn't want that either. So I just pulled thru the line and dropped off just like it was any other day. It seemed so weird to me. Just not very First Dayish...

Well, I am going to get cleaned up and head to my Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure meeting. I will be thinking about little Malik and Jaqualine today as I go try to do my part to help raise money to find a cure for cancer.

I hope and pray within all of our life times a cure is found!
